Coren lang, Sunshine hospital, St albans, Vic

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Dr Coran Lang. Pain specialist. His bedside manner leaves alot to b desired. He has a condesending attitude. He can b cold, rude and belittling. He has actually yelled at me on numerous occasions. Im a patient suffering from fibromyalgia. I have for more than ten years now. I also suffer from depression. Not so much bcos of my illness but bcos of my treatment by this doctor and some of his piers as he has also slandered my name amongst them. It is a mix up with another patient as he has said i have sent nasty emails to the hospital. I dont even know what an email is. I did tried to explain this on numerous occasions but he refused to listen. I also asked for copies of the emails but they have never been forthcoming. I am going to seek legal help as soon as im able to settle this matter. To ensure this never happens to another patient. According to everyone i meet. They all say im the kindest person they know and r so very shocked at the treatment ive received. Ive never met anyone like him in all my years. I would not recommend him as a pain specialist to someone who is in need of kindness and .compasion. i am happy to say there r others in his field who have had the training to deal with patients who need phycological help when dealing with severe pain and depression. Ive also been told not to bother the hospital again to seek pain relief after being admitted for a week. That was when he cornered me with the accusations. At that point i was scared as i had no idea about my illness. I was told they did not know but i discovered over time that they did. He left me histerical as i had no family to support me at the time i wanted to leave the hospital then and there but i didnt want to look guilty of his false accusations. . Ive since suffered chest pain on a three occasions but am 2 scared to go to hospital.

Heriot, 84 Bridge Rd, Richmond, Vic

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Do NOT go to this surgeon if you need to have a peritonectomy at Peter MacCallum Hospital. You need to be referred to NSW either St Georges (Prof D Morris) or RPA. Heriot puts Victorian lives at risk by leaving patients on waiting list for too long. Places financial considerations of Peter MacCallum above that of patient care.

Sandra Ssentamu, North Canberra Hospital

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I was seen by Dr Ssentamu at North Canberra Hospital. My GP referred me to hospital because she wanted me to be seen urgently by an ophthalmologist; but even through I had a written referral, Dr Ssentamu told me I should only visit hospital for an eye issue if I had a sudden loss of vision, and that the clinic was operating with a skeleton staff on the weekend and had lots of other patients. Dr Ssentamu was extremely clumsy when attempting to gauge the pressure in my eyes, repeatedly poking me in the eye, and eventually had to ask another doctor to administer the test. She also made a remark about my height, which was neither helpful nor relevant. As though all this wasn't bad enough, she kept insisting that I was suffering from heart failure. (I'm not.)

I have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Pascoe for about three years. Amazing doctor, caring, thoughtful and honest and looks after my best interest in every decision.

I thought he was excellent But certainly a straight talker. Very surprised to hear that previous reviewer had such a bad experience.

Kevin Hung, Bundaberg, Queensland

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Rudest, most condescending ill mannered doctor I’ve ever come across. Reduced me to tears seconds before my colonoscopy with his abuse and telling me It’s a waste of his time. I had to ask for another doctor as I was not comfortable being put to sleep with him in charge of my care after his lack of care, empathy and abuse. I never wish to lay eyes on him again. The nurses and anethatists were amazing but nobody should be told they are wasting someone’s time and why are you here right before a procedure. It’s not like I wanted to have a colonoscopy!!! Who the hell would want to? I was following my doctors and specialists instructions. Apparently they don’t have a clue in his eyes either. Was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Extremely upsetting and I don’t wish to go back to the Bundaberg base hospital again unfortunately. It’s the second time in 5 days I’ve been treated terribly by doctors. I have a very thick skin but this man really upset me and showed no compassion or care. I wish I could rate a zero but it won’t let me.

alla waldman, bankstown, nsw

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I was first treated by Doctor Waldman in the ED of Bankstown Hospital. That was May of 2017 following my first heart attack. 2 years later, I am still Dr Waldman's patient through a second heart attack and complications. I am lucky to have Alla as my cardiologist. She monitors my medications and worked hard to get me on to Repatha (a cholesterol lowering medication) that is working very well. She is accessible if I need her, supportive, and always goes the extra mile for me. Thank you.
