Andrew Pascoe, Wesley Hospital, Brisbane, Qld
I have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Pascoe for about three years. Amazing doctor, caring, thoughtful and honest and looks after my best interest in every decision.

Andrew Pascoe, Wesley Hospital, Brisbane, Qld
My brother in law had the misfortune of having this guy at the Wesley Casualty. Arrogant, rude, uncompassionate and should not be dealing with people. Clearly did not want to be doing his job, didn’t read the notes or speak to the Dr in charge, rushed in and attacked the patient with “What am I doing here? What’s wrong with you” When trying to explain the condition, kept butting in aggressively with his opinions. Would never use this chap who obviously thinks he is above the rest of us.

He and his wife are wonderful caring doctors and would not go to any others unless they are on holidays or not available

I thought he was excellent But certainly a straight talker. Very surprised to hear that previous reviewer had such a bad experience.

Sandra Ssentamu, North Canberra Hospital
I was seen by Dr Ssentamu at North Canberra Hospital. My GP referred me to hospital because she wanted me to be seen urgently by an ophthalmologist; but even through I had a written referral, Dr Ssentamu told me I should only visit hospital for an eye issue if I had a sudden loss of vision, and that the clinic was operating with a skeleton staff on the weekend and had lots of other patients. Dr Ssentamu was extremely clumsy when attempting to gauge the pressure in my eyes, repeatedly poking me in the eye, and eventually had to ask another doctor to administer the test. She also made a remark about my height, which was neither helpful nor relevant. As though all this wasn't bad enough, she kept insisting that I was suffering from heart failure. (I'm not.)

What a bastard. Picks and chooses whether he will attend to clients with real skin cancer diagnosis. Born and bred Cottesloe, West Australia, *** off to Perth or Gasnsbaai!
