Prof. Vafa is a nice and funny guy. He always try to make class be very interesting and let everyone be happy to engage in. Also, he tries to make exam not that difficult if we take study seriously and attend every class, spend time to review and practice problems he posted.

Sabrien Amrov, University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, M5S
Professor Amrov is an informative, wise and incredibly thoughtful instructor. She takes time to gradually provide the student with a sense of direction within classes and outside of classes. her direction and assessment in classes are thorough and applicable helping to get through intense material. Additionally, Her instruction allows a student to grow and become, incorporating a sense of comfort and community into the classroom, that is difficult to find among any professor. A pleasure to be in her class.

Brian Trapp, University of Oregon, Eugene, 97487
Trapp was substituting our professor and spent half the class introducing himself and gloating on his accomplishments. Our professor told him to let students describe how we wrote our stories. When it was my turn, he told me to shut up and stop talking. He was rude to everyone and gave nobody helpful advice, just judged students and hurt them.
