Just ate in Nottages restaurant in Crookhaven cork this evening. Very disappointed! Very average and over priced for the food. The setting was the best part looking out at the sea and beautiful boats. Certainly wouldn't return to restaurant.

After supporting this restaurant for many years, even though in the last 6 months the food has gone down, and the sauces are more gloupy than the used to be. However, it was convenient for us and my husband would pop down once a week to collect a take-away. However, last night I placed the order (which I have been doing for years over the phone) and when my husband got there he realised his credit card was not in his wallet. We had only ordered one dish and a side but he was short about €6. Now my husband goes there regularly so he phoned me and I offered to pay with my credit card over the phone. They said they didn’t know how to do that, so would not give him the food. He promised to drop down the money next Sunday but they refused. I phoned them afterwards to discuss same with the manager and explained to them the situation and they knew my husband because he was a regular. The manager really didn’t seem to care so I knew I was wasting my time. Very disappointed with the staff and perhaps it’s a blessing in disgsuise for us, as now we find another take-away and deal with professional people who care about their customers.

Brutal service, can't take an order correctly, quick to take your money but when you request for the missing food it's a big issue, no such thing as the customer is always right, the laughing in my face too made me furious, I will NEVER order there again ????????

Ballyseedy cafe, Co Op stores Carrigaline Co Cork
Had our usual morning coffee in Ballyseedy cafe. We we served by Bernie who got us a table in the very busy cafe, topped up my coffee and was so pleasant to all the customers. I would highly recommend Ballyseedy cafe morning coffee and lunch. Very happy customer. K.H.
