This Dr. Catherine McNamara showed no compassion/empathy towards my husband. She was rude to me. She minimised my husbands necrotic/ulcerated 8” pressure wound announcing it as a simple grade one. In reality she had never viewed the wound or the photo of it on his file (despite being told it was uploaded) Her notes were inaccurate. She had no time for my husband, just treated him like he didn’t count because of his age. Very sad and disappointing and have since learned she is known for her lack of empathy and rudeness on the wards.

I received my consultation report from Dr McNamara. She made a wrong diagnosis, stating I had a ulcer.....wrong. Never mentioned an ulcer. Poor personality, judgemental, shows no empathy. Quick to make wrong diagnosis. To many wrong comments in the report. Made emotive comments when she did not question me around why I stopped taken medication due to severe head aches caused by the medication.
