No one can do anything right, instead of offering feedback she punishes you by not talking to you. Refuses to offer freedback when asked and doesn't like older employees.

Very normal person. Interesting, easy to talk to and very human which can be unusual for tech person. If I had to work to find something bad it might be that he's too busy. He's prone to same prejudices as any white male, but willing to consider other perspectives.

Sometimes unprofessional. As stated in employee handbook no cell phone use or posting on social media about the work place. I however saw a post on social media stating how they were conducting an interview and someone spit water on the person who was being interviewed. I found that very unprofessional as an assistant director to be posting that on social media.

Administration at Upstate should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this woman to stay in power. Despina Garcia 6I manager is a despicable human being that treats her employees terribly. She has a history of bullying and abusing her power. I highly discourage anyone from working there. You would be setting yourself up for failure and an abundance of stress. This exact review was relayed to current CNO Nancy Page but continues to be ignored.

I worked in laundry for 2+ yrs. Had to work 2 hours free every shift, no lunch no break. Worked this way to care for the elderly residents in the Home. Administration and State knew but nothing was done. With nearly 2 yrs expernce, had $1/hr pay taken. Also had hours shorted tho work load stayed same. Pay went down 1/3 to 1/2. Was living in Subsidized Housing, and tho I proved pay had dropped my RENT WAS STILL RAISED. No assistance from State there either. Was Evicted from rent controlled apartment and got Fired from job - no Unemployment. This is the tip of the iceberg. It was years ago - both my parents had strokes, and my mom had heart trouble. NEITHER ARE IN THIS CARE HOME. Can there be a LOWER 'Rating' than a '1'?

Stagnant wages, low morale due to inept leadership, and little autonomy in staff work day.

Promoted her friends even if they weren't qualified for the position. Power hungry. Unpleasant to work with.

Biggest bully around. Picks favorites and does not support her nurses. Will bully you until you finally quit. Talks trash about her employees to her "favorites" and goes out to drinks with the chosen ones who also get special treatment for their work schedule, holiday schedule, and vacation time. Worst boss/manager I ever had...came into work late on a Saturday night to yell and throw a book at the night shift and then threaten an employee to "take it outside"....completely UNPROFESSIONAL.
