I know there a lot of people bashing on Molly Cain, but she has not worked at Tech Wildcatters since 2013. Ricky Tejapaibul has been running it since then. He refused to hire Molly back. His decision set Tech Wildcatters on a path of destruction. They moved offices every year when the lease payments were due. They have closed their doors in their only location, Dallas. Ricky ran off every investor and has been unable to raise a fund. Not a single fund. He brought back Gabriella Zielke, but she lost interest in Ricky. Besides, all of the old investors were after her for scamming them. So Ricky is in charge of classes that are free. Even with free food, no one really attends except his friends and Indian call center scammers like Saif Naveed. What a great face to put on the Dallas startup scene. NOT!

Their microseed VC fund is a scam. The independent audit report that the investors forced shows that Gabriella Draney and Ricky Tejapaibul collected a 70% fee in the first year. That's not a typo. 70% fee. No one, not even the dumbest of crooks charge that much. Most funds have a fee of 1 to 5%. Nothing is left to invest in startups. That's why the startups quit the accelerator.

Like Gabriella Zielke and Molly Cain, Ricky has fled after being fired from Tech Wildcatters for fraud and embezzlement. Rumors started flying in March 2024, but an official statement was released last month confirming Ricky's departure. Their website has since taken down and their office was locked by the landlord and the police department. Debt collectors and investors are waiting in line as Ricky is absent and believe to have flown to Thailand to escape criminal charges. Didn't Gabriella do the same thing???

IT IS JUNE 2024. IT IS OFFICIAL. Ricky Tejapaibul was fired by board of Tech Wildcatters for cause. Terminated and not even given the chance to resign for reasons not disclosed due to HR policies and employment laws. However, those inside Tech Wildcatters have disclosed that Ricky was found embezzling funds and absent from work for weeks at a time. Ricky, who invested over $100,000 of his own money has lost the entire TW Fund which he was working on raising for 10 years. The TW website has been taken down and Ricky is believed to have fled to Thailand. This is a similar story to former TW CEO, Gabriella Zielke that trained and mentored Ricky. Gabriella fled to Mexico after embezzling over $1M in investor funds in 2015 leaving Ricky to run the company. Dallas awaits the next chapter of TW as its board and investors figure out a solution.
