How on earth is this woman a licensed cpa? She is constantly making excuses for errors that have cost me thousands. Late filings, using the wrong forms, and she miscategorized my business. I am not confident she can read and comprehend english. For a cpa, she requires a calculator for simple math my 8th grade daughter can do in her head. I researched Lan online, and she is involved in nail salons, asian massage parlors and is the Treasurer and Campaign Manager for Mike Gould, Collin County District Clerk Candidate. He is a realtor with no recorded sales for 2 years, but is heavily involved in the massage parlor business. He does not have a JD or any college degree which I assume is required to be district clerk. He also has a DUI and Lan had a suspended license. The more you search, the more dirt you uncover. These are not the credentials or activities of cpa's, district clerks, and politicians. I am suspicious of Lan's license for these reasons. At a minimum, I would assume a licensed cpa must have a clean record and have the ability to read and perform math at an 8th grade level.

At first I thought she was joking with a name like Buttery and being the President of a company because she comes off as a sort of the silent, uneducated type with really bad communication skills and awkward body language. Not good traits for a President or leader. But it gets better. I met her at a political event where she is claiming to be the campaign manager and treasurer for Candidate Mike Gould. Seriously? For real, a silent lady (probably best because no one can understand her when she speaks) that is in charge of a political campaign. Doesn't add up since you kind of need speaking and personal skills for that job. Oh wait. It gets better. Neither she or the candidate reside in the county where the election is held. That's kind of like a requirement. I gogle search for her awesome name and I find this site. So now it all makes sense. Hello, I am looking for Paula Polma and Lan Buttery. Today's date is August 11, 2025. I have tried reaching them at their property, which is a gated community called THE PENINSULA, located in Rowlett, Texas. Due to the gate, I was unable to gain entry. Paula and Lan refused to grant me access when I contacted them. I have left 2 written notes at the gate for them to contact me, and I have sent letters to their Rowlett address. Neither has responded. I am trying to resolve this without filing a lawsuit, but I am prepared to take this to court if need be. These 2 ladies owe me over $100,000. I am a small business owner, and they owe me for unpaid commercial lease payments, unpaid utilities, and property damage (they purposely flooded my building and tore up the interior walls). Both are involved in running illicit massage parlors and *** services in the greater DFW area, which I did not initially know. Both have an extensive history of liens, bad debt, and lawsuits. The address they provided me is 150 Peninsula Drive, Rowlett, TX 75089. But, I have confirmed that they also use the following addresses: 175 Peninsula Drive and 200 Peninsula Drive both of Rowlett, TX 75089. The past employment information we found for them is Citadel Broadcasting and Tax Seasons.
