She is cold, rigid, and defensive to the point of hostility.

What's the point of requiring scheduling an appointment 4 weeks in advance if anybody can just walk in a cut in line? Thanks for wasting my entire day you moron.

Robert Hull, Lexington, VA

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Facility is impeccably clean and Dr. Hull and hygienist were professional. My only issue was the assistant Amanda Wood choose to seek out my husband via social media after his six month hygiene recare appointment. I would appreciate the respect of calming her hormones as I would around her husband.

Gregory Nazar, Baptist Health Floyd, Louisville, Kentucky

Rating: 1 out of 5.

My initial experience with this neurosurgeon was good. Procedure performed for synovial cyst touching my spinal chord went well. Until...a couple of months later, pain increased in same area. A disc had slipped into the spot where the cyst had been. Because precautions were not taken to insure this didn't happen, anither surgery needed to be done. During this procedure something was done incorrectly, again, and spinal fluid leak started, became infected, resulting in ANOTHER surgery to 'clean out the infection'. Meanwhile, he continued increasing my medications to help with the pain. (Looking back at what he had me taking, I probably should have died from an overdose.) Infection continued to worsen. The pain became unbearable! Dr. Nazar said, 'Well, there will be pain while healing.' I couldn't sit, stand, or lie down without a ripping, tearing pain. I thought I would die. My final MRI he ordered showed the infection had gotten into my spine - the bones. It's called osteomyelitis. I've never experienced pain like this in my life! When his nurse practitioner told me over the phone what this was, I almost fainted. I told her I couldn't take this anymore and wanted a new doctor. I wouldn't send my enemy to this man or his nurse practitioner. If you need anything with your spine, go to Dr. Jeffrey Gum, Leatherman Spine Institute. Just do your research.

Robert Hammer, Louisville, KY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

$305 per regular office visit to the a Nurse Practitioner. I’ve been allowed to see the actual physician one time in my last six visits. I sat in the patient room for 1 hr and 40 minutes waiting for the Practitioner to come into the room, until I had to stalk the halls of the office to see if I had been completely forgotten. Dr. Hammer is booked out for six months has been my experience. Joke. Highway robbery for $305 for an appointment with someone who can barely speak English. Medical records aren’t just given to you; you have to request in writing or online. Do yourself a favor and stay miles away from this inept and lousy “medical” practice.

John Baird, 9204 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I went to Dr. Baird after searching thyroid specialists in Louisville, KY. After my first visit with him, he convinced me that he could help me with my hypothyroid condition. In the end, he really messed me up with my thyroid issues. He put me on a medicine that was not right for me and made me hyperthyroid rather than hypothyroid. I believe he did this on purpose. He encouraged hormone replacement, which made my thyroid condition even worse. And now after coming off of the hormones, I feel so much better. His treatment was not covered by insurance. I am now with a new primary care doctor covered by insurance. My new doctor said that he was trying to help me lose weight so I would keep coming back, but it was not proper treatment of my thyroid condition. He also made inappropriate comments to me during appointments. I do not recommend Dr. Baird. I paid him 4000 plus the cost of supplements that he insisted I needed. I was looking for a specialist, and he definitely tells you that he is. Just goes to show you that search engine optimization is real and doesn't always bring up the real experts.
