John Lopera, Woolbright Rd, Boynton Beacg, FL

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr Lopera is one of the most comprehensive, educated, hardest working doctors I have ever had. Dr Lopera works hard to maintain my health, to secure my body's highest quality, and to encourage me to do all I can to achieve my aim which is to have a long lasting, healthy life. Dr Lopera oversees a very professional office staff. They are each high quality and highly competant. Dr Lopera povides transportation to his office for patients who do not drive. I am one of them. I will be relocating in Spring 2019 and I wish I could take this practice with me.

Dr Alan Rechter, Katy Freeway service Rd, Houston, TX, 77077

Rating: 5 out of 5.

The success of my hip surgery (done on March 01, 2021) is beyond words! I, not only can walk, I can run, jump, dance and no pain whatsoever! I’m over the moon with these results and can’t rave enough because I waited too long before I did it so was worried about the level of healing, since I had been in utter agony and couldnt walk prior to surgery. If you have any hesitancy...DONT! I owe this Dr and his incredible staff...my life! You have no life if you can’t do laundry, pick up things that drop..can’t carry your groceries, etc. I have my life back! My only regret is”I wish I did it 3 years ago!” God bless Dr Rechter and staff!!!!!

Ashwani Srivastava, 4305 W Wheatland Rd, Duncanville, TX, 75237

Rating: 1 out of 5.

This is a horrible doctor. No compassion for his patients. My grandfather suffers from heart failure and dementia. He was just released from ICU in March and I moved him into my home. I am establishing care with all new specialists in Dallas. My grandfather had a virtual appt. with Dr. Ashwani today. This was the first appt for my grandfather. Dr. Ashwani started off by being very rude to my grandfather because my grandfather couldn’t remember his current health issues due to his dementia. I always assist my grandfather with his memory and I only minutes earlier confirmed with the doctor’s MA that Dementia was in the grandfather’s chart. Dr. Ashwani tells my grandfather, you should know this, it’s your health. This comment embarrassed my grandfather. I also had to continue to repeat the fact that my grandfather was in ICU in South Carolina. Then he tell my grandfather not to drink water. I have never heard of a doctor telling a patient not to drink water. The hospital, primary care physician and Cardiologist wants him to urinate to keep the fluid off of his heart. My grandfather has a pacemaker and heart failure. He almost died 2 months ago because there was fluid collected on his heart and caused his heart to stop. I attempted to inform Dr. Ashwani of the reason why all of my grandfather’s doctors are telling him to stay hydrated. Before I could give any info, the doctor cut me off to say, “he’s on a water pill, what do you think a water pill does?” The fact isn’t, my grandfather is not getting enough fluid out of his body hence the reason why he drinks water. This doctor is extremely rude. This was a very horrible experience. I want a doctor that cares about their patients. His therapy plan for my grandfather could mean life or death. I don’t want someone that does care either way. This doctor also had the nerve to stop in the middle of my grandfather’s visit just to have a long discussion with his MA about another patient while in front of the camera.

I AGREE 1000 percent with the idea the DALLAS VETERANS HOSPITAL should post pictures of ALL the doctors so every single veteran that walks through those doors can see POINT OUT to other veterans whose great who excels and who should not be allowed to walk through the from door as they are that BAD. I came from LACKLAND I have ear issues and I would like to know who the doctor they call the BUTCHER is and believe it would be highly beneficial. Who the doctor they call the HACKER is? Some veterans feel like practice dummies and that should never be the case. Who the doctor they call LOST IN SPACE IS? I want to know who the doctor who makes the HORRENDOUS SCARS on American Soldiers is? We DESERVE a fighting chance at picking a DECENT DOCTOR at the Dallas Veterans Hospital, anything less would be immoral I AGREE WITH THE IDEA and think the VETERANS hospital should post the pictures so those of us who are newly separated will know who to stay as far away as possible? The VA in Dallas should do more to PROTECT us from these doctors and have routine, regular quality checks to make sure the skills they have if any remain top notch as they are operating on American Soldiers. Mediocrity among doctors at the Dallas Veterans Hospital puts us all in DANGER. Maybe one day they will actually care about what happens to us.

Rachel Koster, PA, Cypress Station, Spring, TX

Rating: 3 out of 5.

An addendum to last review... I had to work early the next morning (woke up 3 times coughing)... And trouble getting rest because I'd been coughing (for now close to two weeks). It would have really helped me to AT LEAST call me back...

Rachel Koster, PA (Northwest Diagnostics Center in Spring, TX) helped me out w/ a bad upper respiratory / sinus infection by seeing me on short notice awhile back. I had been symptomatically treating my "cold" with all the right things (rest, fluids, Mucinex, etc). However, after 1 wk, I was still coughing excessively, etc. I followed all her instructions (she added on antibiotic and Flonase). The next morning I woke up 3 times between midnight & 6am. The 2nd time I called & left message for something for my cough. I have yet to get a call back. I feel unimportant to this practice (not the first time this sort of thing has happened). I would recommend a different practice if you have complications with your condition as you probably won't get a call back.

Dallas VA Complaints, lancaster, dallas, TX

Rating: 2 out of 5.

New to the dallas va came from fort sill. I think the dallas va should put the faces of doctors on the va website. I got nose issues after speaking to other veterans I know I do not want the doctor known as the butcher hacker and lost in space I want someone new but didn't have a face to go with the name. The dallas va should post the pictures of all docs so we know who to give a wide birth too

Dr Skowran - Sutter Gould, 600 coffee rd

Rating: 2 out of 5.

My mom went to him, then myself for 4 yrs. Seems like he needs to retire. There is no concern there any more. Office does their best to sched video calls instead of you going in. I've had him throw up his hands and say "what do you want from me?" Very discouraging and frustrating. But he's never forgot to remind me of a covid vaccine.
