Carl Christopher Hook, 201 1st St SW, Rochester, MN, 55905
With the shutdown in March 2020, Mayo closed and Dr. Hook abandoned me; stopping my cancer care. When Mayo reopened, Dr. Hook said he wasn't going to give me certain care he'd promised and I'd die. Mayo and their doctors are known in MN for only caring about profit. Since Mayo shut and its doctors abandoned their patients, and Mayo "had to" care for the poor with Covid, Mayo and its doctors lost much profit. My insurance didn't pay well, so Dr. Hook decided to let me die. When I challenged Dr. Hook's decision, he retaliated by forever banning me from Mayo Clinic. The MN Dept of Health told me that Dr. Hook's and Mayo's actions were "morally wrong" but legal in MN. MDH said that Mayo and its doctors are known for turning away and neglecting patients. The Commissioner's office of the MN Dept of Human Services told me Mayo's known for banning patients. I think Dr. Hook took advantage of this to punish me for complaining.Stay away from Dr. Hook and Mayo if you want to get well and live.

Gao, Digestive Disease Clinic, Tallahassee, FL
I had a Capsule endoscopy after both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy performed by Dr Gao at Digestive Disease Clinic here in Tallahassee. The procedures were prescribed after a stool test indicated that I had blood in my stool. After the capsule endoscopy I was told by one of Dr Gao's assistant that I had some lesions in my intestines and some constrictions in there also. I was told that Dr Gao wanted me to have blood tests done in two months and to make an appointment to see her in three months. My wife call a Dr friend of hers and asked him if he thought this was an appropriate follow up to the results of the tests and my prior history of being anemic as a result of the blood loss. He told her no and suggested that we obtain all my records from Digestive Disease Clinic where Dr Gao practices and make an appointment with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. We followed his suggestion and subsequently had a double balloon endoscopy done at the Mayo by Dr. Starke there and were successfully cleaned up of all the abnormalities he could identify. I will never see Dr Gao again if I can possibly help it, nor will I go to Digestive Disease Clinic in Tallahassee ever again.

Richard gullick, 2675 Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA
I saw dr. Gullick today, and I actually can't say whether or not he is good at what he does. I can say that what he told me about one of the things I went to see him about was not in agreement with anything that I have read from sites such as the Mayo Clinic. I can say that the man has zero personality. Under no circumstances what I allow this man to cut into my neck or my lower lumbar. He gave me approximately 4 minutes of his time, and answered basically none of the questions I asked him. It seems to me that something as important and dangerous as cutting into or around someone's spine would at least have a doctor with enough personality to at least pretend that he cared about the person he was speaking to. I came away from this appointment confused, depressed and more than slightly angry.

David roberts, 1100 E Diamond Blvd, Anchorage, AK
Dr Roberts is completely incompetent. My son went to him with pain all over his body, and Dr Roberts told him it was a vitamin deficiency. We moved to Phoenix because nobody in Alaska would help my son. The Drs at Mayo Clinic finally found out what is wrong with him. Dr Roberts should go back to school and learn something because right now he knows nothing.
