:To Whom It May Concern: I was told by the advice from the VA- because of my substandard care that I received from Dr. Chasolen for the two years of a total nightmare, and being totally departed of my hard working sum of $38,000.00- and not having any of the work sent back to me- as I requested on several occasions- just to prove that it was in fact sent back to his discount dental lab in California for the total credit of any money that he paid to them- as he told me when he was sending it back - and telling the lab that it was a totally failing bridge unit- as he explained to me stating that we would receive any and all of the money that was paid to them. Dr. Chasolen then changed his story when he abandoned my treatment plan- that he again failed and could not put together the so called new plan with a new local lab to redo my work, he instead stated to me that the work was not sent back to the California lab- and as a result he was charged for the lab work of the failed unit, I then asked that he please send me all of the so called work that never was not sent back to the lab- and to please send it to me "to prove to myself that it was sent back to the lab and that he in fact did receive all of the money back" The dentist that finished my work even asked Dr. Chasolen for very important information pertaining to critical info. that was needed to complete my work with the new dentist but Dr. Chasolen never answered the request as it was obvious that a lot was being hidden from my substandard care that was provided with the treatment plan that I had for two years with Dr. Chasolen- and so very little was ever provided from Dr. Chasolen himself- other than the time and failed attempt that he made -trying to fix a chip that was done by his work on a $7,000.00 implant crown- even though i agreed to remove the chipped crown and let the lab have an easier time for the unit they were making, "low and behold Dr. Chasolen presented me with a $3500.00 bill to remove the crown that he had to remove because of the negligence in chipping it in the first place. To date my option that I am contemplating is to take out a reverse mortgage on my home to pursue a civil case- and try to get my $38,000.00 back and whatever merit of loss that a 80 year senior veteran would be entitled to for the two year night mare that I received while in treatment with Dr Chasolen. Dr. Kuhl has been my family physician for 10+ years. Until recently I had never experienced the belittling, talk down to your patients as I had often heard he could be. Not only did he refer to me as being incoherent, (which I wasn't) but he become so verbally abusive that by the time the exam was over, I left the exam room in tears. My recent for the unplanned visit was due to a fall I had experienced on a Saturday night and again on a Sunday evening. Because I had been diagnosed with thinning bones 4 years ago and subsequently prescribed medication for the condition, I have been especially careful have how I walked, slowing down my stride, and given up horse back riding. The falls I took placed great stress on my joints, hips, knees, and lower back. Long story short, the good doctor has lost a patient for good. I will never allow this person to examine me again. I will never use East Tennessee Medical Group again. The treatment I have received from this group since reaching my 62 birthday has been less than stellar. No one deserves to be treated in such a mean, hateful and cruel way, especially when said patient was in excruciating pain, could barely walk, and exhausted due to lack of sleep. I considered filing a review with the state medical board, but instead decided to post a review on this site first. I will pray in earnest that someone on the medical review board will eventually conduct a review on Dr. Kuhl's unprofessional conduct toward his patients. I know I'm not the only patient he has treated so poorly. My uncle was also a patient of his a few years ago and was subjected to the same type of verbal abuse, lack of caring from Dr. Kuhl. His bedside manner has a lot to be desired. His uncaring attitude, verbally abusive tone is unacceptable. Another incident with this doctor was the misdiagnoses on me in 2013. He kept insisting the pain in my chest, running down my left arm, and shortness of breath was heart related. First off I have no relatives who have ever had heart problems. Secondly, it took two trips to the emergency room and 7 months to get this man to refer me to a gastroenterology specialist. As it turned out my gall bladder was on the verge of shutting down. The emergency room doctor on my 2nd visit discovered the problem and thank goodness he did. Otherwise I probably would not be sitting here filing a review 6 years later. Thank you for reading the post and I hope the word gets out so that no one has to endure what I went through on Monday, November 25, 2019.

Dr. Raskin is the One!! last feb,. my then 14 year-old boy started to have pain in his right wrist, with no obvious injury, and with rest, pain med, he did not get any better but worse. after second mri in july, he was diagnosed with kienbock's disease and was put in cast. we were graciously recommended by our dr. to look for a more experienced surgeon for this condition. so from then and there, my family started a very long, hard and draining journey for a trustworthy surgeon to operate on my son for this rare but serious condition, esp. in a teenager. we covered pretty much all the renowned pediatric orthopedic facility on the east coast, including boston children's hospital, children's hospital of philadelphia, hss in nyc, and met with top pediatric orthopedics. unfortunately, each dr. had his own understanding of the condition and no two came up with the same surgery plan and none sounded even close to being assuring for his own plan. at one point we were told to go back and wait till the condition got worse enough for the very aggressive surgery at the next level. meanwhile my son, a very athletic kid and a competitive baseball player, was wearing the case from elbow down ( from the diagnosis in july till surgery in dec). frustration, exhaustion, desperation, helplessness, financial burden, missing school....all that doesnot even begin to describe what we went through.... untill in nov., right before thanksgiving, i was sitting in front of my computer, having exhausted all resources and feeling desperate, not knowing where to go next, when i got a phone call from dr. raskin's office that changed everything!! in no time, i found myself sitting with my son and dr. raskin in his office, settling down on his least aggressive, most assuring and convincing surgery plan with best postoperative prospect. dr. raskin, is god-sent!! he is very kind, patient, personable, understanding, warm. his office feels like a living room at a friend's house, very relaxing and welcoming. his assistant and staffs are very patient and attentive. above all this, dr. raskin is proved to be and stays as an experienced, top-notch surgeon in his field. in april this year, four months after the surgery, my son was cleared for sports and nowadays, he is pitching and in-fielding for baseball and dunking on basketball court. my family cant never thank dr. raskin enough!! we recommend him highly and without any reservation.

Dr. Steven Jon Schichman is Director of the Urology Department at Hartford Hospital, Tallwood Men's Health Center. I thank God for Doctor Shichman. his sense of urgency was very comforting. In response to my initial contact, within minutes, he called me 3 times with updates and a next day appointment with Dr. Bieniek, an expert urologist on his staff.
