The most uncompassionate Dr. I have ever met. Does not care about the patient, does not explain anything and does not look over his notes on follow up appointments, just wants to rush you out of his office and run tests and does not give you results. His office is filthy and office staff is rude and incompetent, do not get correct information and they get angry when you correct them. I was very sick and could not get any answers from him. He never returned calls nor did his staff. (they had called the wrong number or so they said) I finally went to the office and got all of my records and thank God I found another doctor. It is obvious he is in his profession for the money. I would highly advise people NOT to go to him. After telling my medical doctor about him he said he has heard the same thing and would not recommend him. Dr. Macan obviously has forgotten the oath he has taken. I tell everyone I know about the horrible experience I had with him and judging from the reviews I am not the only one. I wish I would have read the reviews first.

I visited the office with shortness of breath. I've never had any issues with this and was nervous. This provider was no help. I was not upset because she was treating me...I was upset because I didn't know what was happening, possibly happening, etc. and she did not take the time to give me any type of information or have proper bedside manner.  This was also displayed today on my phone call with her.  She did not take the time to listen to anything I had to say.  She said I DID NOT fill the scripts and I did....and thats why I was calling to ask questions about the medication. I've worked with physicians for 21 years.  Her behavior on the phone is not the way any provider should ever handle a patient under ANY circumstances.  She stated she had 3 witnesses listening on the phone and that they heard me "yelling" at her. I was not yelling, I was trying to speak with her and explain what was going on, but she would NOT let me speak.  The proof of that is the fact that she stated I refused the meds she prescribed and thats when I had to talk over her and let her know that I did fill the meds and thats why I was calling.  Its also noted in my chart to call back in 3 days. I had a problem with her bedside manner and spoke to the front office person about it and that was the correct thing to do.  I stated that I didn't know what was wrong and wasn't offered any type of explanation UNTIL she seen I was upset and ready to go. And yes I did state that if I could get an appt in Charlotte with my PCP I was going to because I needed more than she was giving me As the provider, it was NOT her place to confront me in the manner she did at all. At no time during the call with me did I hear that she even cared why I called.  She had a chip on her shoulder and needed to get her point across.  She was not concerned with my well being today. At the end of her rant on the phone she then let me know that I am more than welcome to come back in to be seen. Why would I? The patient / doctor relationship has been destroyed. Her job is to treat patients and inform them. If there are any problems the patient has, that is handled through office staff and management. Arguing AT a patient then offering to care for them must be a new age approach.

Come down to Big D watch some mavericks, watch some stars, watch some cowboys. Then make appointment with lenka stankova ask any veteran for the butcher and they will point you in the right direction. I bet you 1 cowboy hat and a pair of Texas Boot's our doctor is worse then yours. Just follow the scars you will find here. p.s make sure your insurance is paid in FULL.
