You will want to avoid this place like the plague. She is no a bad doctor but her staff has much to be desired. Very unprofessional and rude. tried to get a tier exception on a drug that was prescribed to me, but was unable to because the office person did not fill out the papers properly. When I brought this to her attention, she became very agitated and rude and insisted my drug have been approved through the Tier exception processed when it had not. She further insisted that I had not met my deductible when I have met it some time ago. Unbelievably unprofessional and lacking in basic knowledge.

THE OFFICE IS VERY CLEAN & THE ATMOSPHERE VERY PLEASANT. I FELT COMFORTABLE. THE NICE KIND LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY NICE TO ME & SHE WAS VERY PLEASANT & PROFESSIONAL TO.THE ELDERLY LADY. I had the Sleeve Gastrectomy on 3-29-17. The whole team at Surgical Healing Arts Center are the Best. I worked 1 on 1 with Dr Ramlogan and Jill. I am now 15 days out of surgery and feel the best I have every felt in 18 years . I have lost 26 lbs and 6 inches in 15 days. I would recommend the teams to anyone who wants this surgery. I just want to say Thank you.. and Hugs forever.. Wanda

I went to Dr. Stavrakus for numbness in both feet. He recommended that I take Motor NCS and sensory EMG test which uses electrical shock testing waveforms. On my next visit I was under the impression that I would be talking to Dr. Stavrakus about the results of my tests. To my surprise I did not see the doctor but instead was put into a room with two young ladies.They suggested to me several shots in each ankle one or two times a week for 5 to 10 weeks called nerve blocks, which consists of shots of dextrose (corn syrup and water). They had a cart with the shots and ready to go.This was to "Relive my pain". I never told anyone on Vitalaty Medical staff that I had any pain. I have numbness in both feet which has no pain. I am also a diabetic and I think sugar water may be a bad thing for me. These injections are very expensive and are not covered by my insurance. After conferring with my family doctor, my opinion on Prolotherapy/Nerve Blocks is that it's a controversial form of therapy, and Vitality Medical try's to push it. I am sure glad I checked out Vitality Medical on line before I let them talk me into the shots.There was also some startling information about Dr. John Stavrakus on line when I did some research.Patient/ Buyer beware!

Island Drs provide the worst patient care I've ever experienced. The office staff never know who orders what for their own patients. The doctors themselves act like the patient is a total inconvenience to their time, which is expensive. The doctors do not show any interest in what the patient is there for. No communication. The doctors show their annoyance if they have to have a conversation with the patient. Very bad patient care.

Dr. Mirman and his staff are amazing. I was an emergency patient and not only was I treated with kindness and respect~ I must add that the doctor's professionalism was truly unsurpassed. He is an expert in his field and I recommend anyone needing root canal to look into the history of his endodontics. Thank you all for helping me today.. I appreciate everything done during my visit to your practice.

Refuses to give Test results over the phone . I’ve called the doctor numerous times. the office staff does not respond to our phone calls. my parent is home bound and it is difficult for her to go up and down stairs due to dizziness from a major fall ( hitting her head on the concrete) which has caused her permanent dizziness. this is why we went to this doctor. His office staff reflect the rude and unprofessional treatment they provide patients. He is lucky he gets 1 Star rating. i tried giving a much deserved “0” rating. However the system insists a “1” rating or above.
