D. Carlson, 13871 Elk Run Drive, West Burlington, IA
I went in for pain in the abdomen and difficulty breathing. My general MD was not available, so I was referred to Dr. D. Carlson at the Great River Family Practice Center in West Burlington, IA. I was asked and responded 3 times to questions regading my allergies. Despite that, I was given a shot and a medication order to be filled at the pharmacy. When I went to the pharmacy to get the medication order filled, I was told "it was not the right medication for me." They would have to call the doctor for another medication. That could only mean, I was allergic to the medication ordered. That is a flagrant disregard for a patient's safety.

She was the most understanding and patient doctor. She listened to all of my concerns and took time to answer all of my questions. I felt like a person and not just another patient with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She was great so happy I chose her to be my doctor. She was very knowledgeable and very trustworthy extremely understanding. Everyone should choose her to be your doctor. The best at everything.

Dr. Laura McNaughton, 4301 Sergeant Rd, Sioux City, IA
If I could give a rating higher than 5 I defiantly would. Dr. McNaughton saved me from a hole that I was being swallowed up by. Dr. McNaughton performed a breast reduction and tummy tuck on me. After my second child my chest grew much larger than I could handle affecting my breathing. I had done the dieting and lost a significant amount of weight but sadly chest or my muffin top was going no matter how much working out I did. I was always bigger chested but when it started to be a problem while chasing the kids around I knew it was time to do something. So I guess you could say Dr. McNaughton was my saving grace! I truly mean that statement because from the moment I woke up I could take a deep breath without having to stop in the middle of a conversation. This may seem very simple and CRAZY to some people but for the ones that do understand what I am talking about words can not explain how grateful I am for her. Another major perk is I have minimal most of my scars are healing and "fading" or "blending" (sorry not sure what is a better word there) into my normal skin tone color. This is even more exciting because I have an extremely fair complexion. Lastly, Dr. McNaughton is ALWAYS (day or night) available for questions or concerns even months after your surgery. As I stated in the being she pulled me out of a deep hole I truly mean that! She has done so much for my family and I simply by listening and having the best bed side manner of anyone I could ever ask for. When you tell her how you feel and what you are thinking she truly listens! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. McNaughton because I feel and know that I do not have enough space here for that. So I guess what I am trying to say if you are needing anything done that involves plastic surgery Dr. McNaughton is the Best and Only choice. I would ever let a family member choice or myself choice anyone other than her.

Gagandeep Randhawa, 5777 W Maple Rd #180, west bloomfield, MI, 48323
The office visit was fine and Dr. Randhawa seemed to have a good bedside manner. But her office is worse than a Third World operation. Getting it to call in my mom's multiple drugs was a nightmarish experience not just once but twice. THe doctor had to find the American equivalent of the Indian drugs my mom was taking. THe first time around, they called in the drugs to the wrong pharmacy, on the wrong birth-date and got her BP medicine wrong (she ordered a medicine without the diuretic combo). It took an hour-long futile visit to her clinic, dozens of calls and countless hours to get everything straightened out. The second time, I called twice and texted twice before getting any response. Finally, when I did, I actually texted a written list of all the drugs my mom needed to avoid any confusion and then went over the list with her assistant, hoping to avoid a repeat of the first time. No such luck. They again did not call in the diuretic and the baby aspirin. (One other med that I thought that they had not called it turned out the pharmacy could not dispense for two weeks.) ANd getting them to rectify that mistake during the holiday week ended up being an exercise in abuse and humiliation. Folks, do yourself a favor and find another doctor. This one is not worth it. She takes no responsibility for her mistakes and knows only how to point fingers at everyone else.
