I went to the ER with seizures, the guy did not listen to me at all and had me pee in a cup so I did I also have a bladder problem that causes white blood cells in urin so I of course look like I had a UTI the dr called in meds for a UTI and called in THE ONLY MEDICATION IN THE WORLD IM ALLERGIC TO and I had on my allergy band and it was on my chart so then I leave and he called it to a pharmacy an hour away then I called the dr back to have it changed to somthing I wasn’t allergic to and they tell me that’s the pharmacy’s problem, uh no you prescribed it. And on top of that I didn’t even have a UTI. I’d give this doctor a 0 if I could perfect example of why patients have a hard time feeling like they can reply and trust a dr.

Lazy, judges you on paper not to your face… The VA sent me to him and I brought all my history but he never read it because he knew nothing about me!!! No discussion but he writes in his notes that I’m pre Alzheimer’s pre Diabetic, WTH!!! I saw him once and he refused to pay the VA anymore so he dropped me without discussion, I showed up for my second appointment and they said we’ve dropped you, no letter no email no nothing!!!

Brad here from Carl T in Phoenix in sunny AZ. We had a Lenka Stankova in medical school back in 2006 if its the same person you better have YOUR LIFE INSURANCE PAID IN FULL. Dallas VA is NOT the only one with spotty doctors we have our own Lenka Stankovas alot of Vets would love to show the door BUT MANAGEMENT MAKES THAT IMPOSSIBLE IN AZ. I also agree with hanging pictures of every doctor it will go along way as Vets Talk sometimes very loudly I am afraid they know who the doctors that are good and the ones that are not. Putting a name with face will help everyone from vets, to employees as well THERE IS NO DOWNSIDE I CAN SEE. I also like to add Carl T and staff encourage every vet to get scheduled we have the vaccine and we are waiting to SERVE YOU.

Carl Christopher Hook, 201 1st St SW, Rochester, MN, 55905
With the shutdown in March 2020, Mayo closed and Dr. Hook abandoned me; stopping my cancer care. When Mayo reopened, Dr. Hook said he wasn't going to give me certain care he'd promised and I'd die. Mayo and their doctors are known in MN for only caring about profit. Since Mayo shut and its doctors abandoned their patients, and Mayo "had to" care for the poor with Covid, Mayo and its doctors lost much profit. My insurance didn't pay well, so Dr. Hook decided to let me die. When I challenged Dr. Hook's decision, he retaliated by forever banning me from Mayo Clinic. The MN Dept of Health told me that Dr. Hook's and Mayo's actions were "morally wrong" but legal in MN. MDH said that Mayo and its doctors are known for turning away and neglecting patients. The Commissioner's office of the MN Dept of Human Services told me Mayo's known for banning patients. I think Dr. Hook took advantage of this to punish me for complaining.Stay away from Dr. Hook and Mayo if you want to get well and live.
