Stay away from Pain Treatment Centers of America and Dr. Sameer. He almost killed me with a narcotic patch called buprenorphine. Those things will overdose you if you get too warm. I read the package insert and understood what could cause that. But no one in that office mentioned that walking across my yard at 7:30 in the morning would overheat that patch. I no kidding almost died. And the nurse I talked to about it on the phone chewed me out and was rude and wanted it to be all my fault. Blood pressure 83/49 when I got help. I was with PTCoA for 4 years. In that time I had 3 different doctors--not because I chose a different doc (they don't alow you to do that).but because apparently Dr.s come and go at this place....kind of like the way clerks get rotated thru the convenience store. I went thru sudden narcotic withdrawal twice because one of them neglected to authorize my refills. Took 9 days for her to get around to it the first time. The clinic is more interested in selling you the latest product or procedure than doing what is best for you. Over my time w them there were so many mistakes and misdiagnoses. I had to ask myself "why am I putting up with this?" The answer is ...because they give me *** ....yep...that's why. So now I am being treated for opiate addiction and trying to find someone who can at least be responsible with medications. And they hurt me.....Dr Sameer doesn't believe in giving IV sedation for injections....said "it takes too long to take effect and the shots will be over before then." B.S.....Iv sedation is almost immediately effective...what take too long is placing the IV and such....it can save him 10 minutes per patient if he doesn't bother so then he can run an additional 10 patients per week thru the clinic....$$$$$$$. It's all about the $$$$$$. You don't matter. He hurt me. He misdiagnosed my issues. He almost killed me. Stay away. Stay away. Stay away...oh yeah...did I mention STAY AWAY

Him and his staff are unconcerned about their patients. My blood pressure has been out of control and at stroke level since June 2016 as of to date it still is he hasn't done one test to get to the root of the problem. Has not hospitalized me one time hasn't monitored my blood pressure not one time either. I'm not going to die using him. I'm done!

Gary White, 6124 W. Parker Road, Plano, TX
I had the privilege of having Dr. White twice. On my first surgery, I was nervous and scared like everyone is when they are having surgery until Dr. White came to see me before they took me to the OR. Dr. White held my hand and we had a short prayer and I felt reassured about the robotic surgery I was being prepped for. He put me at ease and the surgery went well. You can always tell when you have the right doctor by observing his staff. The receptionist called me by name as well as his nurse that helped him and the administrative person that scheduled my surgical date. Everyone was so friendly and eager to answer any questions in their area. Everyone was happy and to do what needed to be done as was Dr. White. After surgery his staff continued to check on me and make sure my diabetes numbers stayed in normal range. I would and will tell anyone looking for a surgeon that Dr. White is the best before, during and after surgery. I had the same experience for my second surgery the following year. He is the best!

Michael Mullins, 1629 Airport Rd., Hot Springs, AR
I was up front with Dr. Mullins, I had gender issues. He would change the subject when I would try to talk about it. I was under the impression I was seeing a specialist. Usually the doctor will shut the door in examination room. Mine was open with my chair partially in the hallway. Next visit I had a list of three things to talk about. As I was trying to talk to him he would walk out of the room on more than one occasion he did this. As I was sitting there by myself halfway out in the hall looking into the examination room he walked by and snatched my list out of my hand. Then he came back and said we are through. I was told by Dr. Mullins, " this is a family clinic". ? I went back a few days later to talk to the administrator. I just wanted to ask if they were going to treat me or not. If not I need to move on. As I walked into the administrators office Dr. Mullins charges in and sits down with the most hateful look on his face. He was not going to let me talk to the administrator. Dr. Mullins made sure out of hatefulness that I could not go back to my doctor I had over 15 years. I am also barred from half of the medical facilities in my town now. I have never ever seen such hatefulness in a doctor in my entire life. I am a human!!!!!!

I have been trying to figure out my diabetes for years. At first, I believed she was a great doctor, but as I'm wanting different options, I'm starting to doubt her. What she says in person versus what she writes in clinical notes don't match. She doesn't accurately portray my desires and concerns in her notes either, which makes me seem like a stupid, uneducated patient. She writes that she suggested a treatment but never mentioned said treatment to me verbally. She failed to list reasons for requesting medication changes. It feels like a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation. I've considered recording conversations so that future doctors will know the truth versus what's in my records. I have messaged her and her supervising MD regarding my concerns. If they are addressed properly, I will gladly change my rating and review. If not, I will be finding a new primary care doctor for both my daughter and I.

Dr Johnson quickly put me at ease. I rode down the hall in a wheelchair to surgery, like a race car, fast w his long legs. I did the sound effects! No problems!
