Marwan Dib, Weston, WI
Dr. Dib may very well be a good doctor. It’s hard to tell because he will only show you the “stage” version of his professional demeanor. From the minute he walks into a room, he’s in entertainment mode, and that is all you will ever see… unless you criticize him. Well, in a minute... My wife, Donna, developed an atrial fibrillation, which is what brought us to Dr. Dib. To be fair, he was very thorough in making sure that she had no parallel conditions that might lead to stroke during the electrical cardioconversion procedure he planned to perform. However, when I asked him (at least a couple of times) what happens if this procedure fails, all we ever got was, “You will be fine, we don’t need to worry about what comes next, we will fix your heart for you,” with a tone like a parent annoyed with a child asking too many questions. As a result of this “I will take care of you,” fog, we were taken completely by surprise when Donna had to be admitted to the hospital, after three attempts failed to shock her heart back into a proper rhythm. The next step, it now became known to us, was to administer a drug through IV for 24 hours, to accomplish what the shocking couldn’t. Had Dr. Dib answered our questions, we would have been ready for this. Instead, we were totally unprepared and I had to make an extra trip (100 miles, round-trip). Hospital admission after this procedure is not common, but not rare, either. Dr. Dib should have explained this possibility to us before the procedure. Dr. Dib likes to play practical jokes, at your expense, as part of his presentation. Some people like this, I hear. We didn’t. For example, at our first office visit, he spent a few minutes talking perfunctorily about the procedure, then grabbed a pair of rubber gloves and told Donna to get on the table for her “rectal exam.” Huh? After we fumbled a few confused words about this, he smiled and told us it was just a joke. We were trying to listen carefully to what he was saying, trying not to miss anything, when he tossed in this ridiculous “humor,” knocking us completely off-balance, just to satisfy his sense of showmanship. This left us squirming in our chairs, wondering how we should respond to anything he was saying. Joke? Medical information? Hard to tell. Clearly, though, the jokes were more important than offering substantial answers to serious questions, several of which were still hanging when he walked out of the room. Time, and time again, he would respond to technical questions with deflecting, condescending “reassurances,” failing to offer any information. The final insult came at discharge. The intravenous procedure ended at noon, the next day, and we were told that Dr. Dib would be in thereafter to finalize the discharge. Even though we were told, repeatedly, that he was “on the floor” and would be in to see us “shortly,” it was 3 ½ hours later that he finally walked in the room, said in the most off-hand way, “Oh, I see that you are fine; you can go,” and started walking out. At this point, I lost my temper, a bit, and asked him if there were some medical reason that required us to wait over three hours, at the end of a completely unexpected hospital stay, for this 5-second proclamation, and why weren’t we told about the possibility of hospitalization before hand? He did not take this criticism well. After a few more words, he told me that “You (meaning me) needed to find a new cardiologist,” and stormed out of the room. The problem with this is that I didn’t need a cardiologist, Donna did. She had nothing to do with the discussion that Dr. Dib and I had about his behavior. In fact, she did not approve of my interference (rightly so; it was her procedure). Yet Dr. Dib dismissed her without the slightest recognition that she was a different person, his patient, and had made no verbal quarrel with him. Subsequent attempts to bring this logical fallacy to his attention elicited no response. His sense of pride turned out to be much more important to him than fidelity to the Hippocratic Oath. In my opinion, Dr. Dib failed to provide good medical care for us. He repeatedly failed to answer technical questions, substituting his version of humor and condescending dismissal, all of which left us confused about what to expect, and unprepared for the hospital stay. When confronted with this inadequacy, he displayed childish arrogance, which is unacceptable anywhere, but much more so when it comes from someone you hope you can trust with you r life. He refused to follow through his obligation to provide medical care to his patient, all because he didn’t like the patient’s spouse. I recommend that prospective patients look elsewhere for a cardiologist, unless you enjoy being the butt of crude jokes, are ok with inadequate information about the treatment you seek, and don’t mind a capricious attitude toward your needs as a patient.

B healthy clinic/Dr Jack Hawks, Phoenix, AZ
It's a disgrace that a clinic that's supposed to be there to help the people would hire a predator like Dr Jack J Hawks.

Brad here from Carl T in Phoenix in sunny AZ. We had a Lenka Stankova in medical school back in 2006 if its the same person you better have YOUR LIFE INSURANCE PAID IN FULL. Dallas VA is NOT the only one with spotty doctors we have our own Lenka Stankovas alot of Vets would love to show the door BUT MANAGEMENT MAKES THAT IMPOSSIBLE IN AZ. I also agree with hanging pictures of every doctor it will go along way as Vets Talk sometimes very loudly I am afraid they know who the doctors that are good and the ones that are not. Putting a name with face will help everyone from vets, to employees as well THERE IS NO DOWNSIDE I CAN SEE. I also like to add Carl T and staff encourage every vet to get scheduled we have the vaccine and we are waiting to SERVE YOU.

Keith Mulki, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox, IL, 60451
Dr. Mulki is a very competent doctor. His office/billing staff is HORRENDOUS, so I cannot recommend his practice. More than a YEAR after I started treatment for a Workman's Comp case, I was told they had NO IDEA it was Workman's Comp, so it was all MY responsibility and it was going into collections. I had responded to ALL bills with the COMPETE workman's compensation paperwork, made special visits to the Dr's office to give them updated codes and so forth, and they (suddenly!) said I had never done ANY of that. Thankfully I work for a government agency, so I can pass this onto them and they WILL sort it out, but I'd steer clear of this office until enough reviews show that they've gotten their act together!

Dr. Ali Mosharrafa, 4611 E. Shea Blvd., Phoenix, AZ
It's a travesty that this man continues to practice plastic surgery while harming in excess of six patients. He has no remorse for his careless, on-going mistakes. The inept, self-serving Arizona Medical Board continues to sweep all of the complaints against this man under the carpet. I am one of his "Victims"! Unsuspecting patients have and will continue to suffer because they are unaware of this physician's negative actions.

The bar must be really low to qualify for that honor. I am sure she will come into her own, and get better as she ages. I have been known to be wrong just ask my wife she tells me every single day. Brian - AZ

Dr. Howard Chasolen, wood st. sarasota fl.
Follow-up After Talking With A Former Worker “ Dear Dr. Chasolen. As you know with all the discussions that we had, hopefully you can understand of my long and odious dental journey that you help put me on , and surly you knew that I had the expense of a total cost to me- starting from the university's cost for $14,000.00 plus Dr. Mish's cost of $11,800.00 and the $37,595.00 to your office ,and to date I have not a single red cent of receiving anything in workmanship nor any money back from you. plus the new cost of $27,000.00 for me to completely start all over again with another dentist, and yet another dentist to correct all of the mistakes at a cost of $29,000.00 so now with a grand total cost of $119,395.00 In all to me. I can not conceive how you must feel, of you departing an 81 year old veteran of $37,595.00 and stalling this case of my going back and forth to your office for two years, and aprox.30 visits at 80 miles per. visit -totaling over 2,500 miles and in very early morning travel (6:00 Am and on several return trips in heavy 5:00 Pm traffic as well) I think in all fairness, I was concerned of you having to pay a fee to the lab in California that you used. -and I offered to sign an affidavit to them in stating that the ten times that they could not get their work right, and that we were not going to accept the unit- as I didn't want them to charge you for the shoddy work that they were doing-time after time, and you said not to worry- as it's being sent back to them, and that they would then realize that you would not be charged at all for it, so instead you were able to keep all the money that I paid to you. I recently met a former worker of yours at the mall and I was told that all your office workers really felt bad for what you were putting me through- and how awful for what you did. I am asking at this time- in all fairness- again- if you would honor a financial adjustment for me ,as if I received a total completion of the work that you started- and if you didn't receive any money – I am sure it would not be fair to you- if you successfully completed my case, and not being paid, you would not like it. You did offer me any models , molds or anything that I may have needed for a new dentist, but I was told that dentist don't really want to use other dentist plans and case items. Please give me a call, an email- or perhaps to meet, and as I mentioned before "that I don't have sour grapes with you" and would be pleased to meet with you if you prefer. I would like to make mention of the $7,000.00 implant cost of Dr. Scott's implant crown- plus the initial cost for you to remove the crown ,as the lab could not line up their work with it, and in all fairness it was damaged at your office by your assistant that chipped it while trying to remove the temp. “Surprising for the two years of my treatments at your office ( you probably worked on my case for about 3 solid hours if any” And that is why it was a total failure, as you did not show any interest for the very complicated case that you stated -when you made me make payment of the $37,595.00 in full long before any work was ever done. You stated to me that it would be better if we removed that $7,000.00 crown to make the lab do their work with less effort, But you charged me $3,000.00 to remove the crown that was chipped at your neglect to removing the temp. unit correctly in the first place. and in closing I did spend an awful lot of unnecessary money- "and I thank God" for not having that additional cost when you sent me to your friend Dr. Ferris- who wanted a ridiculous amount of money for an unnecessary gum graft- and for the sum of $20,900.00- and Dr. Mish laughed and said that I did not need any such gum graft, and the cost to me from your friend Dr. Ferris to tell me of that,- was an additional charge to me for $200.00 Respectfully . nitin patel, 3785 Windsong Road, Prescott Valley, AZ, 86314
I saw nitin patel for extensive heart testing. Well, actually I saw him a total of fewer than 5 minutes in 3 visits one of which was not at all. The second day into a 2-day stress test, the technician was very kind and gentle but could not locate a vein for injection. After 5 attempts the tech went to get the doctor. Then nitin patel came in and was quite visibly angry and chose to berate in a tone as though speaking to a child, "you were TOLD to drink water, you did not drink water!". Attempted to explain that a medication I take will dehydrate and that yes, perhaps I did not drink enough and apologized in spite of his very rude demeanor. Also tried to work with him by offering to drink more water and come back but he completely ignored any attempt to engage him. Other than the statement about drinking water, he never said another word to me. He then grabbed my arm. Without using alcohol, he literally shoved the needle into my arm attempting to do what 5 tries could not produce. I cried out and jumped. He became even angrier, I turned to see him yank the needle out of my arm which created further pain. I looked away as he immediately plunged the needle into my arm again. He did not use a fresh needle and again did not swab with alcohol. Neither time was there a warning that he was about to inject the needle. I jumped and cried out again to which his reaction was to yank the needle out a second time and left the technician to cover and bandage my arm while apologizing profusely. He told the technician "just reschedule" and stormed off as I stated to his back that I am a human being. This "doctor", and I use the term loosely as he does not honor his oath, does not care one whit about the patient in front of him. You are just an insurance claim and nothing more. His arrogant tantrum and extremely dismissive attitude was nothing I have encountered with any doctor and, unfortunately, I have seen many. Phewwww, what a painful, draining and ironically stressful experience. Clearly, I would NOT recommend this "doctor" for ANYthing.
