Service, #1502696, Ashland, VA, 23005

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I visited your store in Ashland,VA in 12-30-19 as I was on my travel home to SC. Wanda took my order with a smile and then I was given my food which I took to my table. After I was eating for awhile she came to me asking if everything was alright and could she get me anything else. I was floored. When I travel this way again I will certainly stop here.

Violino Restaurante, Winchester, VA

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I’m not one that uses social media to bad mouth businesses or people. However I do not recommend this restaurant, WOULD YOU, after reading this letter want to dine there? You get better communication and service at a fast food establishment. Mrs. Stocco did not have the consideration to respond to this letter. Some restaurants substitute pork for veal but Ossoboco is a veal dish. With my experience and background in the restaurant business I tend to believe that the Ossoboco that was served to us was pork. December 11, 2018 Marcella Stocco Violino Ristorante Itilano 181 N Loudoun St Winchester, VA 22601 Dear Marcella: After searching for Ossobuco online, I was specifically interested in that dish, Violino Ristorante came up. We called and spoke to you about the menu. The prices on your website menu was less than was listed on the menu handed to us. We informed you about it (we notice now that you do not have prices on your online menu.) . We made reservations at a local hotel, so our main purpose in Winchester, Virginia was just to dine at Violino Restaurant to enjoy your Ossobuco. We were looking forward to a wonderful dining experience. We arrived at the restaurant a little before your opening at 5PM, we were your first guests. After reading the qualities you listed on your website like “what truly makes violin the experience that it is, is the sense of family that is deeply felt throughout the restaurant by patrons as well as the staff.” “From the moment that you walk through the door you are welcomed into the Stocco family, ….they wrap you in unsurpassed hospitality.” We never experienced the above, we were very upset when we left Violino. Having traveled extensively over the world and being one who takes pleasure in eating truly wonderful international dishes and knows true hospitality and being welcomed to one’s establishment. We were seated with very little conversation. Our Waiter came after a short time, and without any small talk or conversation proceeds listing the specials. When I asked him a question, he said, “don’t interrupt me” and just went on talking. His tone was very disruptive he was rude, impertinent and arrogant. We never saw him again after taking our order, the young lady assistant wait staff was your only shining star we experienced for whole evening, and we graciously tipped her for her kindness. We were upset after we left your establishment. You called me on our cell phone while I was driving and asked “WHY I DIDN’T TIP THE WAITER.” I was driving and did not speak about this issue. (In most states it’s illegal to talk on the phone while driving.) Our meal was ruined, by the rude, impertinence and arrogance of the Waiter, (My family and I owned a restaurant, that seated 250 people, that Waiter would never work for us.) He ruined our whole dining experience and to rate your Ossobuco, I question whether it was veal. I’m not one that uses social media to bad mouth businesses or people.

Dr. Micheal Murphy, 11713 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News, VA

Rating: 1 out of 5.

This doctor will terminate you after 2 no shows- will not listen to reason when you try to explain why- because one no show I do not believe is my fault- I went to the wrong address, because the dr did not update his address online. The dr. dismissed my son, who needs medication for his stability, and refuses to write more scripts when I informed them I have yet to find a doctor for him.. This doctor's reception is cold and rude, and lacks decent customer service skills.

I get it Lenka Stankova is one of those who slipped through the cracks it happens it should not but it does, Lenka Stankova should never have been a doctor Lenka Stankova could not help a patient on her best day protected by the government job with civil service protections witch we all need and want protected by a medical board stacked with doctors who always rule in favor of doctors 95 percent of the time. I also want to know how much of Joe Bidens free college loan given away went to Lenka Stankova or any doctor for that matter. Its disgusting our hard earned tax dollars going to doctors. We all have Lenka Stankovas in our lives. My Lenka Stankova was a dentist a dentist would never intentionally damage your tooth. I say anytime a dentists drills a tooth that didn’t need it he has greatly damaged that tooth. It does not matter if he did it intentionally or from ignorance. He or she has greatly damaged that tooth for the rest of your life as that filling will have to be replaced with ever larger fillings, eventual crowns and possible root canal or extraction. The cost over a lifetime is thousands of dollars per tooth. If that’s not damage, I don’t know what is. I am a veteran of Korean war and not once has the VA ever asked me about my doctor. I have never received a survey on my doctor. I dont know any veteran who ever received a survey pertaining to their doctor. Why? I will tell you why they dont want to know, they don't care about the veteran. I agree Lenka Stankova checks a box a clear Diversity Equity and Inclusion hire. I say send out the surveys on every doctor witch will never happen so you can get honest opinions on the best and the worst doctors aka Lenka Stankova. P Getz Raleigh

Worked at the VA for years. No doctor ever makes 750 000 year thats a lie 5 PINOCCHIOS most make closer to 250 000 with a bonus in the range of 15 000 even the ones that are truly bad. One of the greatest benefits of doctors who work for the government is they have a huge advantage over other doctors. VA physicians hold a federal license to practice at all VA hospitals. If you want to transfer elsewhere in the country, you can and thats what frequently happens to the bad ones because its a federal job with civil service protections they are just TRANSFERED OUT AND NOT FORCED TO IMPROVE. More than 1,250 VA medical centers are spread throughout all 50 states, U.S. territories, and the Philippines. If your spouse needs to move for their career or you just want a change of scenery, you can move wherever you need to. You’ll keep your pay, seniority, and benefits. This is a considerable advantage when compared to traditional medical licensing. When you work at an ordinary hospital or private practice, your state license doesn’t allow you to practice outside the state—except for some limited restrictions like neighboring states or urgent medical emergencies. If you want to move, you have to go through the licensing process all over again.
