The food at this particular location is consistently good. The bacon egg and cheese biscuits are the best I have had recently, much better than McDonald’s because you don’t skimp on bacon.

The owner is has a tight wallet and a firm grip on his employees. He will squeeze every ounce of energy from every individual. Working there I exceeded expectations for months and my "promotion" to manager meant continuing to work as a server and taking on the responsibilities of a manager for $700 a month (plus tips). The clientele is senior citizens, which means 15% for high quality service. Working 45-55 hours a week, none of my efforts were good enough. If I made an effort to improve in one area, I was reminded how lacking I was in another. No insurance, no added pay for overtime hours, the schedule was written with a sharpie on a piece of loose leaf paper. I will always caution anyone who asks about Bistro Orleans.
