Saltgrass restaurant, Midland, TX
Ordered sirloin shish-ka-bob, vegetables had a hard substance discovered while chewing, chipped a tooth. Part of Landry's chain, their corporate denied the claim. Left with an $1100 dental bill. Very poor customer service!!!! Manager was very kind, despite corporate mis-management of claim.

McDonald, 1681 BARATARIA BLVD, Marrero, LA, 70072
The manager was very rude And unprofessional.Because the cashier forgot to ring up two extra condiments (because she had ear buds in one of her ears ) and that I told the manager I would gladly pay for and did.she started yelling and ranting I Just simply said very unprofessional and if you didn’t like your job get a new one the food was very nasty couldn’t even eat. Decided to throw away to avoid conflict with manager instead of getting refund. Then refused to give me her name so I could report her worst experience ever. Unprofessional And uncalled for

My Father's Place, 523 SEGrand Ave., Portland, OR
For the style of restaurant/tavern, I'm giving the establishment a 4.75. After years of fine dining experience to include all manner of businesses in the hospitality industry, I'm certain My Father's Place is worth multiple visits. The chicken fried steak, crisp and flaky on the exterior / tender and juicy in the interior, and eggs, over medium perfection, with hashbrowns, golden brown, are prepared with quality ingredients by experienced professionals and, when considering the amount of guests, arrived in a timely fashion. The server was attentive and friendly without smothering the guests. I would have given a rating of 5, rather than a 4.75 (the site only allows rounded numbers), had the server arrived earlier to write the order. An answer to an age old question; Because I had a bite of egg first, the egg came first. The chicken was second.
