Dr. Bruce Bartie, MN

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I went to my clinic because my leg and for foot were falling asleep. I was sent to Dr. Bartie. I couldn't be more happy with Dr. Bartie and his staff. He calmed any fears I had. The surgery went great. He explained the recovery stages to me before and after the surgery. First hip, knee and foot last. For me it would be a 3 month recovery time. I'm in week 3 and I am very happy with my recovery. I'm able to do all the things I normally did. I would recommend Dr. Bruce Bartie to anyone who needs spine surgery.

Daniel W. Hanson MD/Midwest Brain & Spine Institute, Minneapolis, MN

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Hanson with Midwest Spine & Brain Institute operated on my lower back & fixed a bulging disk plus a little more. He did a great job and I am feeling great now. It was the 1st time we had met Dr. Hanson and he was very kind & understanding. He gives you ample time and explains what he was going to do. I would recommend him anytime. If I could have rated him a higher rating I would have done so. Thank you.

Gregory Nazar, Baptist Health Floyd, Louisville, Kentucky

Rating: 1 out of 5.

My initial experience with this neurosurgeon was good. Procedure performed for synovial cyst touching my spinal chord went well. Until...a couple of months later, pain increased in same area. A disc had slipped into the spot where the cyst had been. Because precautions were not taken to insure this didn't happen, anither surgery needed to be done. During this procedure something was done incorrectly, again, and spinal fluid leak started, became infected, resulting in ANOTHER surgery to 'clean out the infection'. Meanwhile, he continued increasing my medications to help with the pain. (Looking back at what he had me taking, I probably should have died from an overdose.) Infection continued to worsen. The pain became unbearable! Dr. Nazar said, 'Well, there will be pain while healing.' I couldn't sit, stand, or lie down without a ripping, tearing pain. I thought I would die. My final MRI he ordered showed the infection had gotten into my spine - the bones. It's called osteomyelitis. I've never experienced pain like this in my life! When his nurse practitioner told me over the phone what this was, I almost fainted. I told her I couldn't take this anymore and wanted a new doctor. I wouldn't send my enemy to this man or his nurse practitioner. If you need anything with your spine, go to Dr. Jeffrey Gum, Leatherman Spine Institute. Just do your research.

Dr. Michal Szczodry, Oak Lawn, IL

Rating: 5 out of 5.

My mom had her surgery in February 2019. Now 8 months later she couldn't be happier with the results. Before the surgery she couldn't walk without pain meds and the possibility of a wheelchair in near future if things keep progressing. But after a 9 hour surgery with Dr. Szczodry having 18 screws in her spine, a lot of therapy and God's providence watching out for her I can honestly say she is a new person. Through presurgery, surgery and after care Dr. Szczodry and his team have done an amazing job. Thanks Dr. Szczodry for giving my mom a better quality of life!

Two months ago I had to find a spine surgeon to relieve the constant pain in my back and it was the luckiest day of my life when I chose Dr. Eidelson. This whole experience with him has made my journey to a pain free life really much easier than I could have hoped. From my first visit to now, two weeks after surgery, he has kept me informed as to every step I have to take to insure a great outcome. I will be forever grateful to him, thank you Dr Eidelson.

Dr.Teck-Mun Soo, 22250 Providence Parkway, Southfield, MI

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Soo was excellent throughout the entire process for my cervical spine (ACDF) surgery. I felt that I was in good hands during the entire process. He clearly understood what need to be done and had a no nonsense approach with an appropriate amount of a sense of humor. I am close to two weeks now in recovery and all is going extremely well. I would recommend Dr. Soo to anybody that needs this type of surgery (ACDF). He answered all my questions with candor and accuracy. I never got the sense that Dr. Soo was 'pushing' me into the surgical option. I train people in customer service at the corporate level so I am very attuned to this. He was excellent

Uri Ahn, 4 Hawthorne Rd., Bedford, NH

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Ahn of The Nuero-spine Inst.of NH was referred to me two-years ago by several former patients whom he had treated for a variety of back problems. My diagnosis was severe stenosis in my lumbar spine with a bulging disk. MY initial meeting with doctor Ahn was pleasant and informative. He received x-rays and suggested treatment options. Initialy I chose a conservative route. Dr. Ahn provided me with the information so that I could make an informed decision. That initial exam and consult was about 30 or more minutes long! About 18-months later I made another appointment to see Dr. Ahn as the symptoms of my problem grew worse. Once again Dr. Ahn took the time to go over options. I selected to have surgery (spine decompression). Dr. Ahn fully explained the process leading up to surgery, the surgical process and recovery. I met with menbers of Dr. Ahn's team who once again explained in detail the procedures I would experience. I came through my surgery and I am pain free. Meeting Dr.Ahn and selecting him as my surgeon was one of the best medical decision I have made. EWN

Buffalo Neurosurgery, P.Jeffrey Lewis, Orchard Park, NY

Rating: 5 out of 5.

We would refer Dr. P. Jeffrey Lewis to anyone that has spine or herniated disc. I have had excellent surgery on my spine. I have an arthritic spine. In the past 16 years I have had discs repaired and replaced through his mini micro surgerical procedures. He gets rid of the pain and has you up and walking. I can't praise him enough. He did three proceedures and everyone was great and sensitive of my discogenic spine.
