instructor is very inconsiderate. will not work with you if your sick, family emergency, ect. She will fail you talks down to students and gives us a boatload of homework and does not accept any late assignments. Even if you give it to her at the end of class, will deliberately fail you. Out of my class of 30 only 7 will attend due to Mrs. Humphrey and her attitude. I wish i had known better i would've picked a different instructor for reading. always states that she is only a part time instructor however an instructor w a attitude such as hers should not be allowed to work in any facilities. i wish i could give her a zero however the grading scale would not allow me to do so.

My teachings were brought upon by a very well educated and friendly teacher. ( Xochitl Tirado). The respect she has for her teachings and students is immaculate! I just barely came back from L A county w/ my sons and mother… my life use to be in the reds of a vindictive environment. I really wish she was going with me, to teach me every class. I’m a slow reader and need a lot of help with my homework? Classwork. She took the liberty and every minute of her valuable time to guide me the right way… Now I can write well and express my writing in a very well educated manor. THANK YOU!, (Miss. Tirado). You’re one of the best teachers I’ve had in my life, and far the best in my college career. English/

I rate him a 2 because he makes his money on giving people injections. I have a hernated disc, spinal stenosis pain numbness and tingling in both of my legs and feet and refuses to recommend surgery. He is a terrible doctor. No empthy for his patients. Stay away.

How on earth is this woman a licensed cpa? She is constantly making excuses for errors that have cost me thousands. Late filings, using the wrong forms, and she miscategorized my business. I am not confident she can read and comprehend english. For a cpa, she requires a calculator for simple math my 8th grade daughter can do in her head. I researched Lan online, and she is involved in nail salons, asian massage parlors and is the Treasurer and Campaign Manager for Mike Gould, Collin County District Clerk Candidate. He is a realtor with no recorded sales for 2 years, but is heavily involved in the massage parlor business. He does not have a JD or any college degree which I assume is required to be district clerk. He also has a DUI and Lan had a suspended license. The more you search, the more dirt you uncover. These are not the credentials or activities of cpa's, district clerks, and politicians. I am suspicious of Lan's license for these reasons. At a minimum, I would assume a licensed cpa must have a clean record and have the ability to read and perform math at an 8th grade level.

Professor Rivera is inspiring as a mentor. I appreciate his constructive criticism in regards to improve my writing, and the encouragement to give more in my work. I've had the pleasure of participating in his 2017 Sum 1 OL class on Western Literature. He made himself accessible through various avenues of communication. I've enjoyed this class.
