Mrs. Vanderberg went above and beyond to makes sure my daughter received the support needed to meet and exceed the foundational benchmarks to progress to the next level. She has always expressed love and compassion towards my girl & every student who’s had the joy of knowing her. Which is pivotal, especially during these years. I cannot express the gratitude my husband & I have in our hearts for her dedication to her students. My daughter just finished 4th grade and still chooses to take the route to class where she can go by and greet Mrs. Vanderberg to this day. We are hoping our son will have her next year! Fingers crossed!

Please beware...This Teacher has no business in a classroom with small children. She seems to enjoy bulling . She is arrogant and has no patience for the children in her care. She made my 6 year old walk the perimeter of the playground for an undetermined amount of time but at least 20mins in 92 degree weather. She feel in the dirt tripping over tree roots and was told to get back up and keep walking. She came home filthy and covered in big bites. This women put my daughter in danger. All though I am taking my child out of her care what happens to the next child? Heat stroke? Hospitalization? Death? She needs to be stoped from caring for children.

Cheryl Finley she wants to be called frau Finley and she is a terrible teacher at south lakes who is absent A LOT and when she is in the classroom she throws busy work that she calls “projects” but it’s very obvious she wants to keep her students busy so she can be at her computer almost all the time. She also seems bothered if you ask her a question and half the time she’ll give you some bs answer that turns out to be wrong information eww bye lady

Doesnt understand how to teach and is always on her computer. absent an obscene amount and always makes some bs work that she expects us to have done even though no one even knows what to do. I dont think I have had a worse teacher and I will be thankful for the day I never have to be in the same classroom as her.
