Ms Mak, 65th street 12 ave ny brooklyn
Ms. Mak is one of the best teachers at 187. On Halloween, she gave us lollipops and let us play on Blooket!! (Which is the best school game btw). She really likes boba. Her favorite flavor is Earl Gray, 50% sugar. One of my classmates really likes her and even ask me (kinda) to ask her when her bday is so she could give her boba. Ms. Mak teaches math really well. We do have to copy a lots of notes, but it still fine.

ms mcgarrity, is187, new york, NY
She pretty much bullied me a few years ago when I was in middle school. I am in college now. I reported her to Mr. Berman but nothing was really done. It's funny how she just absolutely rips apart an 11 year old kid for simply writing an email slightly wrong (as if an 11 year old kid knows how to write professional emails). I have forgiven her in my heart but I still want to make this statement. No teacher in my life has caused the amount of psychological suffering that she has inflicted onto me. Ms. McGarrity, I.S. 187, Brooklyn, NY, 11219
She expects students to understand every instruction she gives, and only regrades assignments for 6th graders only. Yes, 7th and 8th graders need less help, but they still need assistance. One time, she changed the due date to an earlier time and expected students to turn in the assignment at that specific time. When students told her that there were some technological issues and the assignment was turned in a bit later, she commented back: “LOL. You procrastinated. If I had made the due date 6:00, you would’ve told me at 6:01.” You would’ve thought that as a tech teacher, she would be most understanding about tech issues. But no.... Students are afraid to ask her questions to clarify because of her attitudes. Many students dread going to her classes. What should I say? “LOL”?
