Jennifer Butler, Cornwall Central High School, Cornwall, NY, 12518

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Although she may seem strict, Mrs. Butler is incredibly reasonable, allowing students to hand in late work before the unit tests. The amount of assignments is balanced and fair, assuring those few low grades don’t completely total your average. Overall, Mrs. Butler is a wonderful teacher, and I’m happy to be her student. :)

Think of the most inconsiderate, self-absorbed person you can, now multiply that by 100 and you get this teacher. I have tried to communicate that I have had previous commitments that collide with the schedule and may not work out. He insists that I keep to his schedule, and nearly neglect my own. Because of this, and his inability to communicate, my grades often fall, which means I get little sleep trying to get them back up. He is very hypocritical too. Bless your heart if you ever have him as your teacher.

Ellen Anderson, Harriton High School, Radnor, PA, 19010

Ms. Anderson’s cruelty is intolerable. She’s not fit to teach teens and should consider a career change.

Wow, i already can’t imagine life with out her. This past year of being in her geometry class gave me more then I thought was ever possible. Ms.zinger, if you see this, keep being yourself, because i don’t know how much good you are putting out there. Making people’s days, giving them joy in school, relating to them and being a friend. You can’t get much better than that. Thank you Ms.Zinger for giving me and my classmates such and amazing year 2020-2021; Even with all the COVID stuff going on. - D Lyons

Kelly Clark, Curtis High School, University Place, WA, 98466

Rating: 1 out of 5.

She is so clueless. She has been unresponsive to my emails in the past. She does not know what she is doing and she doesn’t listen to the students when we explain the issues and our struggles. Last time we expressed how her assignments didn’t make sense, she almost started crying. I wish I had a different US history teacher this year. The school needs better training and she needs to stop making her own weird DIY assignments and she needs to just start working out of some textbook. She is a bad history teacher but also just a terrible teacher in general. I understand that she does this because she likes teaching, but she is not good at this. This class with her is a waste of my time. And I understand that she is struggling somewhat to distance learning, but this was just a bad year for her to return to teaching after her 6 year break. I know she is trying but in all honesty, Ms. Clark needs to either receive really good and impactful training, or stop teaching US History completely.
