As a current HS student, I've realized how much Ms. McGarrity has truly screwed me over. I had her during online classes and she was an absolute nightmare, to say the least. No 12 year old child should have to be constantly told that they are "stupid" or berated daily like how she did to me and my peers. As a technology teacher, she should've known that there would be many technical errors when it came to online learning and that it isn't her students' fault. Instead, she would guilt trip us into thinking it was our fault... I truly wouldn't wish anyone to have her as their teacher and I feel sorry for whoever has had her. It's surprising that she still has her job, I'm honestly not sure why considering what an awful person she is to her students.

you ask her for help and she'll say ask your partner and when you ask your partner this fat *** will say "WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO YOUR PARTNER? IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE ASK ME" and when you raise your hand she'll look at you dead in the eyes and ignore it. McGarrity if you're reading this, I hate your fat big obese *** & your "husband" has adipophilia.

She expects students to understand every instruction she gives, and only regrades assignments for 6th graders only. Yes, 7th and 8th graders need less help, but they still need assistance. One time, she changed the due date to an earlier time and expected students to turn in the assignment at that specific time. When students told her that there were some technological issues and the assignment was turned in a bit later, she commented back: “LOL. You procrastinated. If I had made the due date 6:00, you would’ve told me at 6:01.” You would’ve thought that as a tech teacher, she would be most understanding about tech issues. But no.... Students are afraid to ask her questions to clarify because of her attitudes. Many students dread going to her classes. What should I say? “LOL”?

As a Class 600 Student in asr, I can tell you she is NOT one of my favorite teachers. She goes against her own words. Such as "Don't ask me for help, ask your peers" and then she says "Stop talking to your peers you're not supposed to be asking them for help" LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL **** DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? ASK AIR FOR HELP? I THINK SHE ATE HER BRAIN. SHE CAUSED AN AMBER ALERT FOR HER MISSING TINY *** BRAIN THIS FAT*** IS SO WEIRD ON MY SOUL. GOING AGAINST HER OWN WORDS WHAT THE ****?

Omg this obese ahh monkey litterally makes me suffer. Like how bad of a teacher are you? According to her, u shouldnt be helping ppl. Like what??? And she was these goofy gay ahh stories backed up for EVERY FREAKING LESSON. Like how is ur life that interesting u have a story for every scenerio. Its currently 2025 and i dont have her anymore. these reviews on her are just straight cussing so I'm gonna try to make a legit one,, I feel like Ms. Mcgarrity is really hard to talk to, whenever I try to approach her about questions she either turns me down or just dismisses me. Due to this, technology was my worst grade and it pretty much messed up my average. I'm also not sure if those sob stories she tells are true or false, in general it makes me feel unwanted because it doesn't make me feel better at all. I'm not supposed to mingle in a teacher's family business but she took a photo next to her husband in the hospital because she though her hair was nice? Call me out but I think that's very disrespectful. I hope whoever has her is not experiencing the same, I don't like her at all,,,
