Fake web site pictures. Fake web site reviews. Fake employee names. Fake estimates. Overcharging. Lying responses to custom complaints. Ask for references for the last 3 homes he built. I bet you none of the references are from the last 3 years. He has been lying and cheating homeowners for years.

I'm an unhappy customer. What you would expect in a nice house is not included in the price. Its extra. Builder does not know much about building a nice quality house or what should be in its design. Everything takes longer than they say. Everything is a lengthy discussion since they are unimaginative and forgetful. Months late and thousands over budget. Ask Milton Whitley to speak with people he has built homes for. Do this before you buy!

He has so many negative reviews on Yelp and Google that he had his lawyer try to sue them to get the reviews deleted. Like this review from yelp. They take the "custom" out of custom homes. Most of what you would expect in a nice custom home is not included. Its extra. They do not have an appreciation or care for design or luxury. Builder talks too much and repeats himself. He is forgetful and argumentative. I have to show him how to build with beauty and class in mind. Whitmoore Custom Homes always wants more money and more time.

Their address says Garland but on the web it says Sunnyvale and the house I saw is in Rowlett. That's about as confusing as their choice of paint or how they layout a house. Outdated touches throughout with gaps in light fixtures, gaps between cabinets and appliances, and no thought whatsoever given to the flooring, backsplash or kitchen layout. The bathrooms are a death trap. One of those companies that builds them big but ugly. That's the old Texas way. I'd look elsewhere for a custom home builder.

As a result of 3 complaints with the BBB and a case filed with the Texas Attorney General, Milton has suspended his whitmoore custom homes web site and his express tax file web site. google maps state they are permanently closed, and the phone is dead. I am not at all impressed with their work. I saw one of their new homes. Dry wall finish and paint looks worse than a DIY. Cheap vinyl windows and garage doors. They must really like particle board cause they built the cabinets, shelves, and doors out of it. Don't even get me talking about the gaps in the floors. Ugh. Terrible builder.
