The Doctors staff and front office were very dishonest with me. I paid for a procedure that they talked me out of. But they still charged me for. I had put everything on my Care Credit CC and the woman told me when we were finished that she can no refund it back to the CC but will be sending me a check. (which is a very odd thing to do) I waited and waited but still no check. I call back and am scolded that I just have to keep waiting. I wait and wait once again and still no refund. I call once again and this went on for at least 4 times. The last call was about a month later, I was then yelled at by two of the staff members that it was already refunded to the CC. Amazing! It was there mishandling of my money for a service they did not do and then they keep my money hostage and scold me. Horrible. The thing is I trusted them and they just did not care, they tried to blame me. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Dr. Nguyen explained to me why my gallbladder was causing me pain, and what process he would use to remove it. He also explained the risks, side-effects, and recovery process. The day of the surgery he came by to check in with me before I went to the anesthesiologist. Surgery went perfectly with no problems. Today I had a follow-up with him, I'm recovering quickly, he went over the results of the surgery with me, and was glad that he could solve my problem. Recommended!

So inappropriate--I wanted to gag. But I didn't...because that behavior doesn't surprise me. Obviously, most doctors aren't malicious. It would be close to impossible for them to get through all that intensive schooling if they weren't genuinely passionate about keeping people healthy. But a few status-concerned bad eggs always put the "close to" in that phrase. The minute those egocentric ones get that medical degree and six-figure starting salary, they think they deserve the authority of a Greek god. It's amazing that their narcissism and shallowness is so extreme it can propel them all the way through medical school--and into positions where they can f*ck w/the most vulnerable piece of a human: their health.

Thomas Nguyen, San Luis Obispo, CA, 93401

Dr Nguy?n is an unethical physician. He dropped a patient because the patient complained about his refusing to do a test even though it was medically necessary. He made no effort to find an alternative doctor even when the patient just received notice that he had kidney failure. He won't come to the phone or even accept email. His bedside manner is virtually non-existent. He doesn't tell his patients what tests he orders, and he does unnecessary or redundant tests. He essentially practices second class medicine. His staff are rude and unresponsive. They are also incompetent. It took them 4 weeks to refill a routine prescription, resulting in very unpleasant symptoms. It also took them about 8 tries before they got another prescription right. Stay away from this awful medical practice.
