I was very comfortable with him from our first meeting. he explained the procedure with my wife and I and prayed for a successful recovery. Terrible experience!! Both the Doctor and the receptionist (who I believe is Dr. Aronowitz’s wife) show absolutely no compassion, are rude and incredibly cheap. I was desperate to get my teenage child to see a Psychiatrist because they were having sudden uncharacteristic and very scary symptoms their senior year of high school. I quickly learned it is very difficult to find these services in the North Country. They agreed to see my child but made it clear I had to pay $350.00 by cash or credit card on the spot and they would not handle any insurance. I was told I could submit the receipt myself and try to get reimbursed but my usually excellent insurance said the prices were over double what is considered reasonable and customary and reimbursed less than half. Subsequently Dr. Aronowitz scheduled 15 minute visits ( which were usually about 10 min) every 2 weeks for a continued period of time. He refused to prescribe meds for any longer period of time so I had to keep going back. Eventually he let him come once a month for a while. Each of those short visits cost $150.00 and most of the time he kept the meds exactly the same. My child, who was just starting college, accidentally missed one of those 15 minute appointments. When we came back for the next appointment we were told we had to pay the entire $150.00 for the missed appointment plus another $150.00 for the new one. I told my child to ask the doctor if he could work out a payment plan to pay off the $150.00 from the missed appointment and the doctor said “No, I’m not in the business of lending money - make your mom pay and you can work out a plan with her.” This was a college student and it was the first missed appointment! Any dealings I had with either the receptionist or the doctor were horrible- they are both extremely rude and extremely greedy people, obviously only in it for the money. The Dr. has absolutely no bedside mannner and definitely had no warmth to his personality whatsoever. He comes across as very arrogant and uncaring for sure. If you can go to anyone else please do. I was in a desperate situation but they both lack any compassion or decency and I would go anywhere else if you are able. Wish I could give zero points!

Primum non Nocere? Really? I tried three times to get in to see this physician, Hayley Miller, MD. I have never met her to date! In my first visit, she made me wait over an hour... and I left. My second visit, I had to cancel because I was stuck in a business meeting. I booked another meeting. I live 65 miles from the Community Medical Center Clinic at the north end of Missoula.... hour trek. I showed up, filled out all of the extensive first visit paperwork (which was very good, btw) and I was very enthusiastic to see her. I waited 30 minutes. The "nurse" greeted me and we sat in the patient room. Next the nurse (nursing assistant, not a nurse), handed me a certified letter which she claimed they tried to send me. In decades here I have never had "mail delivery problems." The letter stated that because of my "missed" two visits, Dr. Miller would reluctantly care for me for 30 days but not further. I left. This was intentionally mean. I do not recommend this Clinic or this doctor. I hope you have better luck. I am a doctor and I know how I should have been treated. This was sadistic and wrong. This conduct is emblematic with what is wrong in modern medicine. The caring stops at the till and impersonal droids bereft in any human values have taken over.

I was recently diagnosed with an ear infection on 06/23/18 by a local care provider. I sought out additional information from Sonoran ENT as a confirmation that the ear infection was reacting to anitbiotics prescribed and that nothing else was wrong with my inner--ear. I clearly stated to the staff at Sonoran ENT that I have never had an ear infection as a childe and that as an adult, I have no clue as to how an ear infection may impact my hearing, the duration of an ear infection, or what to expect from the healing process. On (06/27/18), Dr. Lara chose to remove cerumen (ear wax) he viewed with a binaural microscope using a procedure called, "micro suction." I have been dealing with tinnitus (ringing of the ears) and sensitivity to certain sounds ever since this procedure was performed. Up until the procedure, my ears were fine. At no time did Dr. Lara or the Sonoran ENT staff ever discuss the timeframe related to the healing process of an ear infection, nor did he ever discuss what to expect from an ear infection. Furthermore, he never discussed the potential harmful side effects of ear wax removal. Do yourself a favor and "Google" side effects of "micro suction." In speaking with two additional ENTs and nurses since the procedure, it has come to my attention that the advice given to me on 06/27/18 by Dr. Lara should have been to simply let the ear infection play out and then investigate other options if the antibiotics did not improve my situation. If Dr. Lara had an ounce of bed side manner or in this case any understanding of ear infections, he would have taken the time to explain the ear infection healing process and he as a professional ENT would have not chosen to remove what little ear wax may have been present. Unfortunately for me, he did not. Dr. Lara may have performed an unnecessary procedure at the cost of not only my pocket book, but my enjoyment of life. I am still a young adult. I highly recommend seeing a different ENT. I also highly recommend not letting anyone use the "micro suction" procedure on you.
