Yuko Yano, Seattle Surgery Center, 900 Terry Ave, 3rd Floor, Seattle, WA, 98104

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Yano immediately put me at ease prior to surgery. She explained how the anesthesia was going to be applied and that i would be asleep without a care in the world.

Dr. Joshua Goldman, Pittsburgh, PA

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Dr. Goldman is very unprofessional and makes agreements and breaks them. I wouldn’t recommend him to people I dislike yet alone like. Please, do yourself a favor: Run the other way and don’t look back! I told him about going to an Express Care hours to get the results to see if it tested positive for Gout. He told me that they don’t use blood tests to check for Gout. I went to Express Care to get the blood tests and X-ray report printed out and gave them to the receptionist to add them to my file and I guess because I proved him wrong he got mad and wanted to get back at me so he refused to fill my prescription which was written for 17 days and he said it would be for 21 and if I started getting tests done which he had given me prescriptions for that he would then refill them. I brought the Gout reports in to prove that I really had it and in the X-ray report the Radiologist said that there were other problems with that foot. He also wrote 2 of the X-ray prescriptions wrong! Apparently he wasn’t listening to me because I told him exactly what I have problems with.

Michael Lim, Baltimore, MD

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Michael Lim, neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD operated on my benign meningioma in January 2012. It was at the base of my brain near the brain stem pressing on my trigeminal nerve resulting in excruciating facial pain. I was allergic to all the successive trials of drugs given and a craniotomy and not cyberknife was necessary to resolve it. I trusted Dr. Lim's expertise and surgical skill for the difficult operation. I am five years out now and now 69 years old. I am an active female who plays pickleball (like tennis) almost daily.

I visited the office with shortness of breath. I've never had any issues with this and was nervous. This provider was no help. I was not upset because she was treating me...I was upset because I didn't know what was happening, possibly happening, etc. and she did not take the time to give me any type of information or have proper bedside manner.  This was also displayed today on my phone call with her.  She did not take the time to listen to anything I had to say.  She said I DID NOT fill the scripts and I did....and thats why I was calling to ask questions about the medication. I've worked with physicians for 21 years.  Her behavior on the phone is not the way any provider should ever handle a patient under ANY circumstances.  She stated she had 3 witnesses listening on the phone and that they heard me "yelling" at her. I was not yelling, I was trying to speak with her and explain what was going on, but she would NOT let me speak.  The proof of that is the fact that she stated I refused the meds she prescribed and thats when I had to talk over her and let her know that I did fill the meds and thats why I was calling.  Its also noted in my chart to call back in 3 days. I had a problem with her bedside manner and spoke to the front office person about it and that was the correct thing to do.  I stated that I didn't know what was wrong and wasn't offered any type of explanation UNTIL she seen I was upset and ready to go. And yes I did state that if I could get an appt in Charlotte with my PCP I was going to because I needed more than she was giving me As the provider, it was NOT her place to confront me in the manner she did at all. At no time during the call with me did I hear that she even cared why I called.  She had a chip on her shoulder and needed to get her point across.  She was not concerned with my well being today. At the end of her rant on the phone she then let me know that I am more than welcome to come back in to be seen. Why would I? The patient / doctor relationship has been destroyed. Her job is to treat patients and inform them. If there are any problems the patient has, that is handled through office staff and management. Arguing AT a patient then offering to care for them must be a new age approach.

Flagstaff family health care, Doctor Steven moss, Flagstaff, AZ

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I came in with screaming pain down left knek and shoulder. This doctor is suppose to have extensive emergency experience. He is one of those guys that does all the talking. Long story short we spent all that visit treating my diabetes, which I was taking care of with appointment already set up in 30 days. Oh by the way this quack could not figure out that 100 units of lantus 50cc twice a day would last you 10 days, he thought it would last a day. I had to have the pharmacy call him and explain the dose and how long it would last. To my surprise he new nothing about Caremark and that you are penalized if you do no fill prescriptions for 90 days at a time. Again this guy did not treat for the reason I was in there. I just took solis in the fact he was not my doctor and I was just there to start an fmla claim. He does not understand this process at all and has jepordized my claim to the point I will have to stress out through many phone calls to fix it. 21 yrs with good company but they have their procedures and this guy I think was too many yrs in the emergency room depencing the pain killers.
