Dr Nikolavsky at Upstate Urology is an absolute miracle worker! He is truly my hero. After a botched procedure at another facility left me incontinent and in tremendous pain and with a severely damaged urethra for 7 months, Dr Nikolavsky and the team at Upstate took over and began to correct the problem. They first got the infection that was raging in me under control. Then Dr Nikolavsky performed a urethraplasty that removed the necrotic tissue and replaced it with healthy tissue. He then implanted an AUS to return my continence. It was a long road to recovery but I went from absolute misery to a happy, healthy life. Dr Dimitriy Nikolavsky is a rock star in my opinion!

I found a new provider. I’ll no longer be seen by Dr. McGuigan /Sentara Hand Surgery Center. Dr. McGuigan spoke to me like I was ignorant. Constant replies of “I do not understand what you are asking.” when there was no way to not understand. He was very rude. I even drew pictures to get him to answer my questions. He still replied with “I do not understand what you are asking.”. I have memory issues. So he kept repeating the medical terminology when I asked if a miracle occurred and my nail began to grow from the “nail matrix”, would it be able to attach to the nail bed and be able to grow out. He kept repeating “germinal nail matrix”. I said ok, will it grown and be able to attach to the nail bed? He said “I don’t understand your question.” What???? I drew a picture from a side view. He still couldn’t understand my question. There is no way he couldn’t. He finally said, “your nail will never grow. There is no germinal nail matrix left.” My nail is now over an 1/8” longer than it was at the time of the accident. It’s been 7 weeks. I wouldn’t go to him because he’s rude. I would give him credit for his knowledge, if he would share it and not be like Fort Knox with it, but share it. Be kind to your patients. They appreciate that. Also don’t keep implying that they are ignorant by constantly correcting their medical terminology. We’ve not been to med school. If we point and say, right here where the nail grows out of at its very point of growth, don’t keep repeating “germinal nail matrix”. That’s rude. Answer their questions instead. Be kind. Don’t imply that they intentionally caused the accident by calling it self inflicted. If you hear someone committed suicide, they call that self inflicted implying an intentional act. Accidents happen. I tend to think he was treating me this way, because he thought the accident was caused by stupidity. FYI, accidents do happen. Please treat your patients kind. The accident was traumatic enough without you adding insult to injury.

Dr Eid is an amazing doctor. After surgery to remove a kidney (because of cancer), a second surgery to repair an internal hernia because stitches inside came loose and then developing a septic type infection requiring wound evac treatments - all quite painful and PERFORMED IN ANOTHER STATE - nothing to do with Tulsa or Dr Eid - I was in a mess. Major scar tissue and constant extreme pain. ... I needed help and it was difficult to get anyone to really hear my problem. Dr. Eid, my new hero, performed a miracle. She removed major scar tissue and loose skin, put me back together and I feel like a human again. Her skill, compassion and outstanding care (along with her staff) gave me my life back. I never thought I would look right again, much less be walking a mile and a half a day and feeling like a real person I will be forever grateful And recommend her highly. I don’t know how she did it Sorry if this sounds sappy but it’s a miracle!

I went to see Dr. Beck after a year and a half of treatments including a spinal fusion but still had consistent pain. The previous Doctor simply couldn't understand why I still had pain. Dr. Beck listened to what I was describing about the consistent pain, performed the right tests, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The pain is gone. He's been a miracle worker in my eyes and I would recommend him without hesitation.

If I could give ten (10) stars to Doctor Barry Boden I would have gladly do so. I have Called several Orthopedic Doctors due to crucial pain on my neck back and right shoulder and arm to get an emergency appointment with no success I called Doctors Boben's office at 20500 Seneca Meadows Pkwy Germantown Maryland a soft spoken stuff member placed me in a brief hold and was able to get me in to see Doctor Boden. The pain was unbearable. I was taken to his office and was greeted by a wonderful nurse that took me to the ex-ray room , a warm and well mannered ex-ray technician took ex-rays and walked me to the examination room. In a few minutes Doctor Boden came in looked though my medical history in detail examined me and listen very patiently to my complains. The Doctor explained the reason of my pain and the symptoms answered every question I had. His unlimited medical experience and diagnosis stunned me. He gave me a couple of shots comfort me with his kind words and scheduled me for a follow up in a week, he asked me to call him if the pain continued , after making sure that all my questions were answered he escorted me out. His bedside manners and concern about my health condition had stunned me. I have seen a lot of Doctors in the past fifty years but I have never experienced this genuine concern and good care that I have received from this "Miracle" Doctor and his stuff. Now I am pain free and blessed with a great Doctor. I recommend Doctor Boden and his staff very highly to any one that is seeking for a great Orthopedic Doctor. Dr. Toman is an orthopedic surgeon who cares about his patients. The first surgery that he performed on me was a 2nd revision of one of my hips that another surgeon said was not possible. Dr. Toman had an MRI done and agreed to perform the surgery knowing that I had torn tendons as well as the need for a lining replacement of the socket joint. He took care of both problems as well as finding that I had fractured one of the large bones as well. I am now able to walk almost painless and without a limp. 5 months later it was found that due to my osteoarthritis I needed a shoulder replacement as well as repair of my rotator cuff and two tendons which were torn as well. I went back to Dr. Toman and he repaired this as well. I am able to use my arm, better than anyone thought after only 3 months. He is very talented, caring and professional and a miracle worker. His staff from the receptionist, to the nurse, to the PA and technicians make one feel at ease and very special.
