Dr. Goldberg Steven, Prohealth, New Hyde park, NY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I would not recommend Dr. Goldberg Steven. He is not a good doctor. Rushes through without paying attention to details.

Deborah White, Saint Joseph, MO

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I have been trying to figure out my diabetes for years. At first, I believed she was a great doctor, but as I'm wanting different options, I'm starting to doubt her. What she says in person versus what she writes in clinical notes don't match. She doesn't accurately portray my desires and concerns in her notes either, which makes me seem like a stupid, uneducated patient. She writes that she suggested a treatment but never mentioned said treatment to me verbally. She failed to list reasons for requesting medication changes. It feels like a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation. I've considered recording conversations so that future doctors will know the truth versus what's in my records. I have messaged her and her supervising MD regarding my concerns. If they are addressed properly, I will gladly change my rating and review. If not, I will be finding a new primary care doctor for both my daughter and I.

Dr. Barbara Ann Scherer, 2001 East Commercial Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Rating: 5 out of 5.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Scherer for over 20 years. She is very caring and has a terrific "bedside manner." She is up to date with the latest medicine and new medical technologies. All her clients love her. In addition, she has a wonderful staff, including Mike, Heather, and Lilly. They all work well with her patients and are very personable and professional. So, if you want the best Internist in town, go see Dr. Scherer. She will treat you like family and she merits a 5 star rating, in addition to our ultimate respect!

Steven D. Kaplan, DMD, 119 West 57th Street, New York, NY

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Kaplan is an endodontist with many years of experience in the field. Despite his busy day, he disrupted his schedule to treat my emergency root canal infection. He is friendly, humorous, calm, and mindful of making me feel comfortable and pain-free. He works with great assurance and patience. My visits to his office were very positive experiences.

Margaret Chen, 2800 Marcus Ave, Lake Success, NY

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Margaret Chen is a very gifted surgeon. I am so happy that my primary care doctor referred me to her when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Chen performed a lumpectomy using her breast conserving technique. There are no scars. She is very caring and answered all my questions.

Hegedus, 30 Central Park South, New York, NY

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Had a 10:00 AM appointment and made the mistake of arriving 15 minutes early (first time there so I knew there would be history to write). Was told the office wasn't open yet and was made to stand in the hall outside the door for 20 minutes -- this with extremely painful arthritis in my hips, knowing the whole time that there was an empty waiting room on the other side of the door, and forms to be filled out. When they finally let me, and the others who arrived early in, I cancelled on the spot. Such a lack of understanding of the patient experience, and the inhospitable discourtesy to deny patients access to comfortable seating (there are none in the cramped hallway outside the door) bespeaks an utter lack of empathy which for me rules this oral surgeon out.
