Keith Meetze, 140 Gateway Blvd, Mooresville, NC

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dr. Keith Metze who is an Ears, Nose and Throat Specialist recently performed a skin cancer removal surgery on my left ear. I had previously had Muse surgery on my right ear and had a bad experience so I had experience with this type surgery being performed. Dr. Meetze was excellent. He stepped me through what would be taking place during my surgery and the options that might occur based on the extent of the skin removal. He first made sure I was properly numbed for the procedure then he did the procedure and sent it immediately to the pathologist to see if anymore skin would need to be removed. It turned out that he had to continue with removal of more skin but he explained and made a sketch of what he would be doing next. He did the remaining removal and it tested out fine. He did an amazing job of doing an under stitching on the area and then pulled the top skin together to close the exposed area and applied a top set of stitches. His nurse Diana went over all steps I needed to do to properly clean and care for my ear until I return to have the stitches removed one week latter. I return in two days to have the stitches removed but everything is healing nicely and I think any scaring will be minimal due to his expertise. I would highly recommend Dr. Meetze for any procedure he is very skilled and professional.

Millen Budev, 137 Gateway Dr, Ladson, SC

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I am a registered nurse who had cateract surgery. Dr. Budev is the most wonderful, professional, and competent doctor one could ask for. He explains everything, does not "push" the patient to do a procedure, and I have NEVER waited over 5 minutes in his office!!

I AGREE 1000 percent with the idea the DALLAS VETERANS HOSPITAL should post pictures of ALL the doctors so every single veteran that walks through those doors can see POINT OUT to other veterans whose great who excels and who should not be allowed to walk through the from door as they are that BAD. I came from LACKLAND I have ear issues and I would like to know who the doctor they call the BUTCHER is and believe it would be highly beneficial. Who the doctor they call the HACKER is? Some veterans feel like practice dummies and that should never be the case. Who the doctor they call LOST IN SPACE IS? I want to know who the doctor who makes the HORRENDOUS SCARS on American Soldiers is? We DESERVE a fighting chance at picking a DECENT DOCTOR at the Dallas Veterans Hospital, anything less would be immoral I AGREE WITH THE IDEA and think the VETERANS hospital should post the pictures so those of us who are newly separated will know who to stay as far away as possible? The VA in Dallas should do more to PROTECT us from these doctors and have routine, regular quality checks to make sure the skills they have if any remain top notch as they are operating on American Soldiers. Mediocrity among doctors at the Dallas Veterans Hospital puts us all in DANGER. Maybe one day they will actually care about what happens to us.

We knew about the butcher Lenka Stankova long before you folks at the VA had her. YOU DESERVE BETTER. She was a professor at UT Southwestern the students called her the hacker, a renegade no one I knew had anything good to say and knew one day she would probably hurt not just one but many.

Michael Duben, Fairfield, CT

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I just left Dr. Duben office during the Covid-19 pandemic. Upon entering my temperature was not taken, I wasn't asked about any recent travels nor any symptoms I might be experiencing. I was waved off when asking if temperature checks were a requirement. Chairs in the tiny waiting room were not socially distant and were in fact exactly the same as they were pre-covid. I have reported this to the State and local health departments.
