Kelly Clark, Curtis High School, University Place, WA, 98466

Rating: 1 out of 5.

She is so clueless. She has been unresponsive to my emails in the past. She does not know what she is doing and she doesn’t listen to the students when we explain the issues and our struggles. Last time we expressed how her assignments didn’t make sense, she almost started crying. I wish I had a different US history teacher this year. The school needs better training and she needs to stop making her own weird DIY assignments and she needs to just start working out of some textbook. She is a bad history teacher but also just a terrible teacher in general. I understand that she does this because she likes teaching, but she is not good at this. This class with her is a waste of my time. And I understand that she is struggling somewhat to distance learning, but this was just a bad year for her to return to teaching after her 6 year break. I know she is trying but in all honesty, Ms. Clark needs to either receive really good and impactful training, or stop teaching US History completely.

Kate Vanderberg, Killearn Lakes Elementary, Tallahassee, 32312

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Mrs. Vanderberg went above and beyond to makes sure my daughter received the support needed to meet and exceed the foundational benchmarks to progress to the next level. She has always expressed love and compassion towards my girl & every student who’s had the joy of knowing her. Which is pivotal, especially during these years. I cannot express the gratitude my husband & I have in our hearts for her dedication to her students. My daughter just finished 4th grade and still chooses to take the route to class where she can go by and greet Mrs. Vanderberg to this day. We are hoping our son will have her next year! Fingers crossed!

Mrs. Bennett traumatized my son. She favors the elite. Everyone seems to know this but I am just finding this out. The principal says Mrs. Bennett is suffering from something.

Dyanne Lepold, Jackson Memorial, Jackson, NJ, 08527

Rating: 1 out of 5.

My favorite aspect of class was the invitation to ask any questions we had on an assignment. This is simply because no matter what your question was, wether it was a question on the material done in class or a question on the assignment and it’s instructions, we were all given one answer which was “I can’t answer that, you either need to ask a classmate or look at the syllabus”. When a teacher refuses to do their job it is inexcusable, I’m so sorry Mrs. Lepold that I don’t understand how material learned at the end of the semester relates to material learned months ago when class first started.
