Paniagua, Arrowhead Elementary

Rating: 2 out of 5.

I tried so hard to like this woman. But she hates are class. We’re good students and every other teacher says we’re their favorite class. But she says we’re disappointing and loud. She’s a young teacher and has kids but she acts like an grumpy old lady. Also she’s pretty much the iconic ELA teacher but worse. I’m so glad this school year is almost over.

Kate Vanderberg, Killearn Lakes Elementary, Tallahassee, 32312

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Mrs. Vanderberg went above and beyond to makes sure my daughter received the support needed to meet and exceed the foundational benchmarks to progress to the next level. She has always expressed love and compassion towards my girl & every student who’s had the joy of knowing her. Which is pivotal, especially during these years. I cannot express the gratitude my husband & I have in our hearts for her dedication to her students. My daughter just finished 4th grade and still chooses to take the route to class where she can go by and greet Mrs. Vanderberg to this day. We are hoping our son will have her next year! Fingers crossed!

Regina Bennett, Jefferson Elementary

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I worked with Regina as a teacher. Three things are clear. She is dishonest, she is a liar and she is a very skilled manipulator.

Mrs. Bennett, Jefferson Elementary

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Mrs. Bennett traumatized my son. She favors the elite. Everyone seems to know this but I am just finding this out. The principal says Mrs. Bennett is suffering from something.

Rhonda Walter, West Chatham Elementary, Pooler, GA

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Based on an eyewitness account of a class of 10 years olds, a General Curriculum paraprofessional by the name of Rhonda Walter threatened to write up my son because he called on the middle name of another student who asked that he not call him... hardly grounds for a write up. When my husband and father of our 11 year old approached her about it, her behavior was offensive and condescending. She walked away from him during the conversation, even closing the door to his face. She spoke to him as if he was beneath her and when the two met with the School Principal, she denied any wrongdoing. Our son was chastised and properly disciplined for calling the other student by his middle name after being asked not to do so, but she's a perfect example of why parental involvement is vital. The screening process for hiring educators need to be intensified. She was all into her personal feelings and clearly did not demonstrate sound judgement as a professional.
