John Windom, 64, a retired Navy officer, Washington

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Another Lenka Stankova hurting the war fighters. John Windom, 64, a retired Navy officer, was charged with making false statements, concealment of material facts and falsification of a record or document tied to a failure to report more than $15,000 in cash, casino chips and other gifts from contractors. The Justice Department announced the charges on Wednesday, accusing him of “accepting, and sometimes demanding, extravagant gifts from a group of contractors and subcontractors who worked on the project he was overseeing.” As the indictment notes, Windom was aware of the rules regarding reporting gifts and receipts, per training for officials. “An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law,” the Justice Department said in its release. In 2018, the 10-year contract was awarded to Cerner (now known as Oracle Health after Oracle acquired it). Windom was appointed as Executive Director of the Office of Electronic Record Modernization in 2017 and helped supervise the VA’s choice of Cerner for the contract. According to the grand jury indictment against him, Windom used his position to take money and gifts from a group of business executives from information technology and consulting companies who were contractors on the project. According to the indictment, Windom allegedly called them “the Power Group.” Windom used his role to “encourage, monitor, and facilitate contract and subcontracting opportunities for members of the Power Group, related and unrelated to the EHRM project.” Windom was allegedly given payment in everything from cash, to $8,200 in Louis Vuitton gift cards and $1,800 in casino chips. He was also given a High Efficiency Particulate Air, or HEPA, filter worth $631. The indictment also accuses Windom of using his position to “coerce” payments and gifts from others. Per the indictment, Windom “repeatedly reminded Power Group members to remain loyal and directed them to maintain confidentiality and their relationship with him.” In one message at the start of 2020, Windom messaged Power Group members, telling them that “loose lips sink ships.” Windom’s initial contract was extended, and in 2022 he was reassigned to serve as deputy director of the Federal electronic Health Modernization Office, a joint VA and Department of Defense project. Nine years after the modernization effort started, the Electronic Health Record program is used by only a handful of VA sites, with the program hit by glitches and usability issues. The VA paused the program in 2023, but is expected to roll out at several sites this year. Windom faces a maximum sentence of over 20 years in prison if convicted on all counts. I started writing down one thing at the end of every day — what I actually managed to do. Not a to-do list, not plans. Just one small win. It's surprising how quickly it shifts your perspective.

Dallas VA Complaints, lancaster, dallas, TX

Rating: 2 out of 5.

New to the dallas va came from fort sill. I think the dallas va should put the faces of doctors on the va website. I got nose issues after speaking to other veterans I know I do not want the doctor known as the butcher hacker and lost in space I want someone new but didn't have a face to go with the name. The dallas va should post the pictures of all docs so we know who to give a wide birth too

Gagandeep Randhawa, 5777 W Maple Rd #180, west bloomfield, MI, 48323

Rating: 1 out of 5.

The office visit was fine and Dr. Randhawa seemed to have a good bedside manner. But her office is worse than a Third World operation. Getting it to call in my mom's multiple drugs was a nightmarish experience not just once but twice. THe doctor had to find the American equivalent of the Indian drugs my mom was taking. THe first time around, they called in the drugs to the wrong pharmacy, on the wrong birth-date and got her BP medicine wrong (she ordered a medicine without the diuretic combo). It took an hour-long futile visit to her clinic, dozens of calls and countless hours to get everything straightened out. The second time, I called twice and texted twice before getting any response. Finally, when I did, I actually texted a written list of all the drugs my mom needed to avoid any confusion and then went over the list with her assistant, hoping to avoid a repeat of the first time. No such luck. They again did not call in the diuretic and the baby aspirin. (One other med that I thought that they had not called it turned out the pharmacy could not dispense for two weeks.) ANd getting them to rectify that mistake during the holiday week ended up being an exercise in abuse and humiliation. Folks, do yourself a favor and find another doctor. This one is not worth it. She takes no responsibility for her mistakes and knows only how to point fingers at everyone else.

Elisa Carroll, san antonio, TX

Rating: 1 out of 5.

My water broke 2 weeks early late night and my doctor was out of town. I was assigned he on call doctor, Elisa Carroll and what a nightmare!!!I would not recommend Elisa Carroll to my worst enemy. I had the worst experience with my first pregnancy. Dr. Carroll was visibly annoyed at the amount of time my delivery was taking. She stated that delivery was going to take a very long time and walked out the door and ordered the nurse to “only call me when she’s ready.” She came back in about an hour later or so with the tools and a young man whom she claimed was a resident who was going to observe the procedure...to which I asked “what procedure??” she then explained that he was there to monitor the use of forceps to speed up the delivery. I again told her I didn’t want to use any tools and that I didn’t agree to a resident student to watch. She walked out eyes rolling. The nurses walker over and patted my shoulders in support and said “you’re doing the right thing don’t let anyone force you into something you aren’t comfortable with”. Thank god for the supportive delivery nurses or i would’ve lost it. Long story short I delivered an unremarkable birth, no problems, thank god! Dr. Carroll pulled a mirror and insisted I watched as she sewed me up after delivery. She then told me that I developed hemorrhoids due to the prolonged pushing. I asked the post care nurse about the hemorrhoids and there were none. I am blessed my child came out perfectly without

I AGREE 1000 percent with the idea the DALLAS VETERANS HOSPITAL should post pictures of ALL the doctors so every single veteran that walks through those doors can see POINT OUT to other veterans whose great who excels and who should not be allowed to walk through the from door as they are that BAD. I came from LACKLAND I have ear issues and I would like to know who the doctor they call the BUTCHER is and believe it would be highly beneficial. Who the doctor they call the HACKER is? Some veterans feel like practice dummies and that should never be the case. Who the doctor they call LOST IN SPACE IS? I want to know who the doctor who makes the HORRENDOUS SCARS on American Soldiers is? We DESERVE a fighting chance at picking a DECENT DOCTOR at the Dallas Veterans Hospital, anything less would be immoral I AGREE WITH THE IDEA and think the VETERANS hospital should post the pictures so those of us who are newly separated will know who to stay as far away as possible? The VA in Dallas should do more to PROTECT us from these doctors and have routine, regular quality checks to make sure the skills they have if any remain top notch as they are operating on American Soldiers. Mediocrity among doctors at the Dallas Veterans Hospital puts us all in DANGER. Maybe one day they will actually care about what happens to us.

We knew about the butcher Lenka Stankova long before you folks at the VA had her. YOU DESERVE BETTER. She was a professor at UT Southwestern the students called her the hacker, a renegade no one I knew had anything good to say and knew one day she would probably hurt not just one but many.

Dr. Steven Jon Schichman is Director of the Urology Department at Hartford Hospital, Tallwood Men's Health Center. I thank God for Doctor Shichman. his sense of urgency was very comforting. In response to my initial contact, within minutes, he called me 3 times with updates and a next day appointment with Dr. Bieniek, an expert urologist on his staff.

Sara ady cooley, Sara Marie Cooley Sarah day, Sarah Marie Cooley. After her long search on a doctor's dating site she found Jack Hawks more then willing as he is with all female patience I believe honorhealth should take good looking to his patient chart and see when exactly when she was his patient and when this started happening because I do believe there is something in the Hippocratic Oath that they have to take but that he must have forgot. He's done this to many. I believe that is why he got fired but can't say for sure. I would weary and place that is looking to hire him because the next step will be a police report. Will keep all you ladies updated. You should also go have pap smears done sense you have no idea how many you have been exposed to

Category: Gabriella Zielke

Tech Wildcatters Owner, CEO and Investor, Dallas, Tx

Rating: 1 out of 5.

I sent Gabriella, my one time mentor and boss, a long email explaining why she is the way she is...a narcissistic and backstabbing person that has image issues that result in her having to sleep with men of all ages (including the elderly). See, I worked for Gabriella on an agreement that she would mentor me and help me build my own brand. I thought it was going well at first, but then she started to blame for her failures. She started to talk about me behind my back and even commented on my appearance to clients. She became so unprofessional and hostile that I dreaded going to work. I felt sick sometimes. Then one day she got physical with me and that was it. I let her know exactly what I thought about her and her office romances. I also confided in a good friend that was a large investor in Tech Wildcatters. Gabriella eventually apologized, but a few months later, she had me fired. She spent those months creating a paper trail of fake problems and issues, which she blamed me for. She didn't have the nerve to fire me and she didn't even come to the office that day. I tried calling and emailing her afterward, but she ignored me. I heard from a friend that still worked there that Gabriella was telling everyone she was going to sue me for harassment. Now that I am doing great and my career has really taken off, I decided to contact Gabriella. Her career has tanked and she is a struggling writer and reality tv star hopeful without a publisher or agent. My advice to everyone is to let people know how you feel and you will feel much better. I know I do. Have fun being a loser Gabriella.
